yeah, i use my dell inspiron , but when i go on a mac, it freezes Depends on what kinda mac you're using. I'm using probably the newest Mac laptop available, and it doesn't freeze up on me at all. But honestly, I think it all comes down to your internet server. Don't take my word for it, cuz I'm not 100% sure. Oh, and....MACS ROCK, AND PCS SUCK!!!! >:-D Begone mac haters! You're just jealous, because they are more artistic . RIGHT ON BRO, RIGHT ON!!!

Marrek, please refrain from double posting outside the RPG or fanfic areas. As for the 'more artistic' part, Adobe trumps both Mac and Windows default programs, and I have the full Adobe suite on my Vista computer. That makes Windows more artistic in this case.

I am viewing this on a PC
I find this whole Mac vs. PC thing to be quite silly in most regards, because each are terrific pieces of machinery. One qualifies better in different fields.
I chose the PC when I had my computer custom built, because I am a gamer, I have been gaming since 8-bit and I would play my old NES, and etc. Therefore naturally I would take windows.
The mac is just as good, but it qualifies in more of a working place due to its reliability, and its more flexibility in customization and a ton of other great stuff.
All in all it just comes down to what you are gonna be doing with it really. Now I understand your personal preference but to say flat out that one sucks and is better in all regards is a little prejudicial and ignorant. You should really learn all about each one and learn what they qualify in.

PC for me. It is my mates computer. I don't have a thing for Mac. I have an iPod, and iPhone though. Funny, my mum phoned and asked if I wanted a Mac laptop jujst before I found this thread. Ironic.

I'm viewing on my Dell XPS 7500 ;D I also think the whole mac vs pc argument is pretty silly. Both are good in their own respects. Macs have really nice default programs for handling audio/video files, they look cool, and they have very few crashes or operating problems, but they cannot run much of the third party software out there, including video games, which are pretty important to me. The PC is more prone to crashes, especially if you have a user who doesn't know what they are doing, but that's because there are a ton of third party applications that sometimes interact in unpredictable ways. And don't listen to anyone who tells you PC's are bad because they can get viruses. Anyone using a bit of common sense and the right programs, which in some cases are free, can avoid this. I've been using PC's for all my life, and not once have I had a PC crash or die as a result of a virus.

Windows Vista or 7, or Linux. I might use the Mac OS if/when Garyn gets it on one of his laptops.
