For romances, I didn't like it in KOTOR II since it was based on the influence system. Here's what I think they should do for KOTOR III:
They can use the influence system again, but this time you actually can choose who you want to romance with (like if you have high influence with all 3 romance options, you can say something like "I wanna romance with so-&-so").

That's a good idea Derek. I always wanted to romance with Mira but couldn't because of the game's restrictions.

Awesome idea! Oh and yea I tried romancing with her and it was really hard!! I tried to romance with Handmaiden & for some reason I couldn't! Anyone have any ideas for romance options for KOTOR III? The one I have is the blue Twi'lek I mentioned earlier in this topic.

Maybe your influence with Visas was bigger than with Handmaiden Derek? Also, here is my idea:
There would be two set romance options, a guy and a gal, no matter what was your gender. Then, depending on the players gender, they would have a party member the opposite of the players gender and would be another romance option, but you could still have the other party member, just a little bit later.
Also, i think maybe you should make your party members fall in love, not just the player.

K why have them fall in love? its a game, your not gunna see any action... and if they kiss, no offence to kotor, but there faces are solid there jaws rarely even move, so if they kiss it will just look like there touching eachothers face, with their own face.
then again love in a story give new options such as paths you can take, things you can say, do, etc.
But what about your character. do you think they will be able to make a custom character, where you get to like design the face/hair/ detaisl such as scars/ etc?

That would be awesome, to customize your character's faces instead of choosing a preset one. Although, i think that instead of going for a deep Oblivion-like face customization, you could choose one of the presets and customize at your own taste.

Yea that would be cool. Because in KOTOR I and II they didn't give you much options while oblivion gives you...a TON of customization!

Although the idea that Revan left to fight the 'true sith' would be great in the game, I think it's unlikely because there really weren't any true sith left at that point, no pure blooded sith existed after thousands of years of interbreeding with the dark jedi that joined the sith in the time of Ajunta Pall. A friend of mine suggested it would be interesting for Revan to go off to fight the Yuuzhan Vong, but I thought it unlikely, because they show themselves to be an extremely ferocious adversary, the force can't affect them, and how could Revan expect to fight them alone? I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they come up with.

I think it would mak a great story of how Revan began his path to becoming a sith lord. Starting item's
Revan's mask Revan's robes *bonus* +1 to all attributes Revan's lightsaber
Beginning story line: Revan pulling out of hyperspace in his customized starfighter, while on his descent toward landing, out of nowhere, comes a tractor beam pulling him into a hangar he has never seen before. Revan not knowing that this was the sith academy of Malachor V. When he finished landing ,he was taken prisoner by sith apprentices and taken to the sith headmaster wondering why he was there. When he gets to the headmaster he finds out that the headmaster is someone that he has never met before, but for some odd reason he finds this person to be familiar, the headmaster is a young woman, that he learns her name is Bastilla Shan. Later, she ends up becoming Revan's master, she teaches him everything she knows, because they find out that they have a force bond. They began growing fond of each other, Master and Apprentice became friends and then lovers

IMO, there shouldn't be a connection between II and III for the new game. While it would be insanely intense for you to be able to transfer your character from II into III, it would remove the feeling of a true lv. 1-?? RPG.
This is my idea for a storyline: You are one of the surviving Jedi Knights from the Star Forge that Malak had imprisoned inside the Command Deck (Final Fight area). You are carried out by Revan and sent back to Ossus (Which, in Chronology status, was the leading Jedi HQ at the time). From there, you have to slowly rekindle your Force Powers and meet several other Jedi Knights along the way. And FOR A FINAL TWIST: you should be allowed to take an apprentice, to transfer on your teachings in an effort to salvage the lost and scattered Jedi Order.
And not to mention...FINE OUT WTF HAPPENED THE REVAN!
