Plus I really think they were using the damage to his organics in the cartoon as a reason he is easy to off in the movie. If he was still that powerful in the movie, he would be unstoppable. He needed to become a throw away character.

lmao i guess i'm famous in this thread. I agree 100% wit mostly everybody,but i think Grievous was awsome in the movies and in the cartoon version,even though in the cartoon version he really didn't fight so much.

i agree with the topic starter the film version of grievous was a huge disappointment i much rather perfer him in the animated format

HEll YES, but the main reasons grievous wasnt so good in rots was after mace crushed him he never had time to fix it (u try fighting an arogant jedi with crushed lungs then shot to pieces while trying to get away from a jedi who shoulda ealised that he lost fair and square (and i really hate obi-wan saying "so uncivilised) further demines grievous's death

Wow, I can't believe I didn't reply to this earlier. From what I saw in the Clone Wars cartoon, he did seem extra weak in the movie. Maybe Obi-Wan caught him on an "off" day or something.
