I personally think the last Star Wars movie, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith had more drama, action, and more special effects! So my question to you all is which movie was the best and give me your reasons why it was your favorite movie:
a) Episode I : The Phantom Menace
b) Episode II: Attack of the Clones
c) Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
d) Episode IV: A New Hope
e) Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
f) Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

I'd rank them as follows:
1. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
2. Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
3. Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
4. Episode II: Attack of the Clones
5. Episode IV: A New Hope
6. Episode I : The Phantom Menace
Nothing wrong with ANH just that there's a reason why GL messes with that one the most. It's true that it was never finished. It's hard to rank an unfinished movie very high.
The two most tragic movies in the saga are the best IMO. I guess that the emotion that comes with the tragic stories makes Episode III and V the best!

2. Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
3. Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones
4. Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back
5. Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope
6. Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

For me it's Empire Strikes Back. I think the acting was better,the performances weren't as stiff as Ep's I-III. The movie had more emotional content.The scene where Yoda explains the Force to Luke was really a metaphor for human existence--how we're connected to everything,ourselves and the universe. How we should believe in ourselves no matter who we are or where we came from. As long as you believe in yourself you can achieve anything. None of the other films have that message or were that deep.

Luke loses his hand, we find out that Vader is Lukes father, the bond between Luke and Lela is formed, it’s just awesome. |

EPIII because it had the best Characters and showed the Clone Troopers killing every jedi.
EPII because of the Clone Troopers first come to fight, and it has Jango in it.
EP5 Because of Boba Fett
EP1 because the duels were decent
EP 6 because of Boba Fett being cool again.
EP4 because it is slow, it's good but compared to the other movies it's horrible saber fight and bad FX.

Here's my order of Favorites:

The reason for the doubles for 2 and 4 is that I like both of those movies about the same
TPM is only that high because of the Maul duel
ROTJ is only that low because of the Ewoks
