LOL. I really think the scene would have been better in the film if Anakin and Mace had actually fought each other with their lightsabers before Palpatine fried Mace. That is just my opinion, though. I also think Mace should have told Anakin "Well I'm a mushroom cloud laying mother F*#$er, mother F*#$er." LOL. That or, he should have given Anakin the Ezekiel 25:17 speech before engaging in saber combat. LOL!

i think they could have extended it by letting Kit Fisto stay alive and help Mace fight off Palpatine. Let Palpy show off some of his awsome Sith-Saber skills. Maybe force push Fisto out the window to smash, not slash it with a saber. but thst just one guys opinion.
