Wow those spring loaded ones look really cool. I have an Anakin force fx but the hasbro ones look really fun. I have an Anakin/Vader colour change Hasbro lightsaber so i dont think that i will be buying the spring loaded hasbro ones yet, im gonna buy the Anakin AOTC and the Vader ESB force fx before i buy anything else star wars related. I do all of my practicing with my fx lightsaber though, they are a bit weighty but my arms and writs are getting stronger and i can do all of the spins and stuff now relatively easily. They just look and feel WAY more real than Hasbro ones so i prefer to practice with my fx.

I just got obi wans episode 1/2 force action lightsaber! yes, they retract fully into the hilt, but in the final piece of the blade (the top piece when extended) has the spring mechanism in it and it blocks the light from getting to the highest part of the blade, its solid white plastic, couldn't they have just made it clear so it could transmit light? Also, it doesn't have clash sounds, just idle and motion sounds. the hilt is fatter than other hasbro electronic sabers and there is a large switch to extend the blade on the side of the hilt, but obi wans saber doesn't have anything there so its not accurate, they could have Incorporated the switch better (they did for the earlier hasbro sabers). Luke's is really inaccurate due to what they did with the switch. In conclusion, I'm rather disappointed.
Oh, and they cost US$19.99

I'm really looking forward for these Force Action Lightsabers to come out here in mah country, i don't care about anything, all i care about is about a Obi-Wan Kenobi Force Action Lightsaber in my hand as my finger pushed the button and extends it. Hopefully to my brother's eye. Also, too bad about the spring mechanism and light thing, seemed really promising.

New spring-activated lightsaber update: I looked at www.starwars.com, went to the shopping area, & once again the date on these new sabers has changed from November 1 to November 24! Why do they keep changing the dates?!

Okay, I admit it. I own one of those goofy retractable Count Dooku ones. The one I have is an electronic one from Attack of the Clones. I have never opened it, but yes, I have been tempted.

Hey, huh, i have a question, about the electronic ones.
So, do their blades "break" or "bend"? I've heard and read many reports about the blades breaking, but i don't think something like that could break!

The blades are made of plastic & can break if you keep hitting (while you're dueling) it hard enough. Anyway, I've tried looking for those new Force-Action (spring-activated) sabers & since I couldn't find one, they're probably sold out where I live maybe cause they're red hot right now.

Well, already December, anybody with news about Force Action Sabers? Well, they changed the release date again: December 5th or 7th? (I don't remember what day. I'll have to check www.starwars.com again)

My next door neighbor's little brother got two of those self-extending sabers. They're pretty cool, but I wouldn't use them for dueling. The blade is kinda wobbly.

OMG!
I just came from the nearby mart, and i found an Ultimate Build Your Own Lightsaber Kit!
I bought it, it was 40 €, and it's a Birthday Present, but it's going to be worth the while.
Too bad i didn't get any Force Action though.
