You all misss the point. I would rather punish myself watching the country music channel than punnish myself watching anime. I hate them both.

The only "Life Lessons" that are learned from country music are how to take down a keg after you wife slept with another man and your dog got ran over. Tear in my beer......I think not.

Ok Azumanga is about a group of girls journey through high school, but in a comedic perspective. It dosent have any crazy action scene's or anything but it dosent need it cause it's funny as hell. At first thiers only Chiyo Chan, this little child genuis who skipped grades. Tomo, this super energetic crazy kid. Sakaki, this tall athletic girl who looks really mean but she's soft as what. Yomi, tomo's friend who makes fun of her all the time but mostly hangs out with her. And miss yukari thier teacher, who is insane. Later more people Join, like Osaka, Kagura, Kaorin who was always thier but they focus on her a tab bit more. Nyamo, Miss yukari's friend and her co worker, they have a kind of Tomo and Yomi relationship. Mr kimura who is super weird, Mr tadachachi chiyo's dog, and Chiyo's dad who is this stuffed animal thing. Man I could go on all day about this show. As for if it's on Tv or DVD. I know when I first ran into I read the manga, saw the advertisment for the DVD's then bought the box set. Sorry i couldn’t get into country music as much as i would want to, brother, which i really wouldn’t want to at all. I love rock and metal music and i can handle rap and hip-hop. but i just cant stand in a room listening to country without wanting to leave right away. i cant stand the music.
Oh so you have one in the family too? lol My dad's really into it, which might be the reason I hate it! Since he's killed it for me! Granted there are a few artist I like, like Reba and Martina, but that’s really it.
Question. Are any of you in to Jpop/rock?

I agree I think your watching the wrong stuff!
Now to me good anime isn't what they show on adult swim!
Granted they did happen to get some really good shows in the past like Trigun. But Cartoon Network mostly gets the "hot in the moment" shows. Which aren't always the best! Most of my favorite anime’s are still in Japan!
But no, don't throw out anime just cause you've only seen one of two really poopy or stupid ones. Like Jerrek said there many different types and styles out there! Its impossible to not at least like one!

Not to bash ya AV, but I don't see how you can think Country is tourture, nor Anime. Then again I was raised in the country so that was the only music that existed. I also draw anime so that explains that. lol

Oh yeah thats just some.
Also you there are alot of different kind of country music, lots of people think it is all depressing and stuff, but really you need to look more into it before judging it like that. If you like fast and crazy music try Jason Aldean. But other then that ALOT of country music is slow.
Also someone asked if people liked rock, or was it pop? I can't remember but I like some of that stuff. I think Evanescence is rock isn't it? I like that group and ummm whats that song? Far Away? I think is the song I like that too. Akon I think is pretty good. ;D

My All-time Favorite Anime Series is Android Kikaider: The Animation. It was on Adult Swim for like 4 Months, then they took it off and I never saw it again.
