Yet I've stated it time and time again in the official request threads, and have sent notifications to the artists I've found doing it to not do so and stick with the threads. If I could put it in the titlebar I would, but it stands.
And I don't disagree, they have the right to select who does it. Therefore, if you want people to choose you, make a request thread and stick to the graphics rules. Or, make a generic 'Sith eyes' request thread and tell people to put the artists name in that they want to fill the request.
Just a note: despite lack of time, effort will be put towards defining a clear set of rules for the graphics area. Individual artists will be able to have supplementary rules if so desired.

People have the right to make a request to a specific person if they want that person to do it. That's another thing the PM system is for. |

True, but if it were done through PM, then it couldn't be used here as a Force-FX graphic, could it, or did you mean PM as in PM the person you want to take your request?
Because the rules say that all graphics used here have to be done in a thread, or made originally by person.

But that's just my opinion, I kinda like how things are set up. It gives the artists a chance to show off their work as well.  Anyway, sorry to get off topic. Back to sith eyes. |

I feel that if someone likes a certain person's work the most, they have the right to specifically request something from that person.

I said they do. Make a thread if you want to fill those requests, just have it be something other than sigs and lightsabers, since we have set threads for those. Thats final.

nice job mason and heres my attempt with making a sith eyes pic its not that bad now i look at it, and i didn't even use Photoshop i used a program called Photostudio SE 2000, its like a knock version of Photoshop. and garyn that is understandable yeah there are already threads of lightsabers and and what not and PMs is really a waste if your going to use them for filling request and it just wrong thats why you should just stick with the threads.  heres the original:  |

Well, I think they have the right to personally request sigs also. I'm not going to mention any names, but I know that some members on this forum are more advanced in Photoshop than others that still fill requests in the same thread. I don't think they should be forced to have to take the chance of getting something that doesn't content them when they know that they like the certain ways a certain person does something and would satisfy the requester the most. Anyway, I don't really fill out requests on this forum anyway. For some reason, it's become so desolate and lonely that anyone joining will surely leave because there is no one to talk to. Not to get too off-topic, but perhaps when Hasbro begins to sell a lot of their Force-FX sabers, more people will flock to this forum to discuss lightsabers and Star Wars.
