If [[Shaak Ti]] was killed in the deleted scenes in [[Revenge of the Sith ]]by a lightsaber through the chest, why does it show her being rescued by [[Mace Windu ]]at the end of Clone Wars2 still alive?

Yes this is true,in the deleted scenes in ROTS she gets killed by General Grev. In Clove Wars 2 she is just restrained by some wried wire looking things, but she is still alive when she is found.

It's because Lucas told them the story and when they created the cartoon it was suppose to be correct the way they did it. They ended up cutting the scene from the movie to fit in better, but it still doesnt make sense because then shes not in the movie at all and you know shes dead because Greivous has her lightsaber...........Dunno......

Also, I do believe that the deleted scenes, as they did not make it into the movie, don't necessarily qualify as canon.

yeah good point but grievous probably took shaak tis lightsaber and left her there....... so maybe they cut the scene because of the cartoon.......

Well, there was another seen with Shaak Ti been killed in the Temple by Anakin/Darth Vader. That scene was also not canon. Also in a magazine, I've read that she could still be alive (even after Episode III).
Also, has someone found a link so I can see what the "Anakin kills Shaak Ti" scene looks like?

This is what I have heard.
Ti was never killed. They have thought about killing her, they have tried to kill her, but in the end she is still alive, probably in hiding like Yoda for failing to save Palpatine. The cartoon she doesn't die and is just restrained.
Wookiepedia "Death Shaak Ti had two different death scenes at various stages of Revenge of the Sith's development, but they were both deleted. Even though two death scenes were filmed, Star Wars Insider 87 confirms that neither scene is canonical, and that she was still alive at the end of Revenge of the Sith.
Shaak Ti death #1The first version was leaked to many Star Wars fan sites and described in the Hyperspace article "Into The Fuel Chamber" and the book The Making of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. In various forms of this scene, General Grievous ignites a lightsaber through her heart on the Invisible Hand with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi looking on. This was Lucasfilm's original idea, and appeared in storyboards and early drafts of the screenplay. The deleted scene is in the Revenge of the Sith DVD. This scene is not canon, as Shaak Ti is later seen alive (though in hologram form) during a Jedi Council meeting, and is presumed to be at all meetings in the film, albeit off-screen.
Recent details and comments by a Lucasfilm spokesperson lead some to believe that Shaak Ti may not be dead, as it has been said "Her death was taken out of the film completely for a reason." [citation needed] Only time will tell what ultimately became of Shaak Ti.
Shaak Ti death #2Another version, which was scripted, and shown in the video game Lego Star Wars: The Video Game, moved Shaak Ti's death to the Jedi Temple. Here, Darth Vader walks in her room, finds her meditating, and stabs her in the back. This scene was deleted, possibly because it seemed illogical that she would be meditating and not feeling the resonation of the carnage in the Temple through the Force. Variations of this scene were described in the Hyperspace article "The Cruel Fate of Shaak Ti". It was also the way Shaak Ti appears to have died in the novelisation of the film. The scene of the death itself is not described, but Vader asks the Gate Guard Jurokk where Shaak Ti is. According to her article at the Databank, she is officially "believed to be killed" during the temple assault, but her fate has not yet been canonically established. When it was planned for her to die onboard the Invisible Hand, her seat on the Council was going to be given to Tsui Choi, an Expanded Universe Jedi.
Originally the Revenge of the Sith Shaak Ti action figure had a hole in its chest all the way through its back, but in the final released version it was filled in.
A picture added to Secrets of Star Wars 07 on July 12, 2006 depicts a Togruta Jedi commanding several Jedi mounted on mutated Rancors to attack a red-saber-wielding being, inferring that Shaak Ti escaped the fall of the Temple and lived at least into the early years of the Empire. As so far it appears the media this concept art was drawn for takes place at least partially from an Imperial perspective, maybe even that of Vader himself, it is possible that she is killed in this later showdown."

in the ROTS Novel Shak Ti dies when Anakin assaults the temple. It's the same as the deleted scene in the movie.
I have no idea why Lucas used the Grievous one for the DVD other than it sets up the other deleted scene after it. Two death scenes for her on the dvd would be a little straneg I guess.
So as far as the EU is concerned she is dead (in the temple asault)

this was my whole take on it, seeing as there's a bit of confusion over "canon" and "not canon"
Clone wars 2, grevious has her lightsaber. I believe he had no reason to do her in, but just left her bound and hanging there as an embarassment. makes you feel like he was toying with her during the movie.
At the beginning of EP III he kills her, makes you wonder what she was doing there in the first place...maybe she was trying to save palpatine first and got caught, and grevious was sick of her?
just my two cents.
