Interesting tutorial, I learned a new saber construction tip from it. Constructive Criticism: You sound very nervous and trip on your words sometimes, it always helps to either write it out, or practice talking about it several few times. Other than that you get 1000 Kool Points. BTW, DM-Dark Lord was tryin to talk to you...

Being a Photoshop enthusiast myself, I felt very impatient watching the tutorial.
But for someone who doesn't know crap about Photoshop, they might screw up ni some areas. When in the pen tool, you didn't say that you wanted white selected as the color you're using.

It was aimed at people who pretty much know nothing about Photoshop. Constructive Criticism: You sound very nervous and trip on your words sometimes, it always helps to either write it out, or practice talking about it several few times. Other than that you get 1000 Kool Points. Yeah, I do have a real problem with that. But, I still trip on words even if I'm reading something. I need a lot of practice with my verbal skills.

Hey linkmax i got my After Effects working and its cool and everthing i was woundering if you have made a tutorial yet for making lightsabers in After Effects. All the ones i looked at are bad in quality. you can really see what they are doing. I have tryed the Kit Fisto easy fast one but i wont to learn how to set key frames and make it so it fallows the saber. I am trying my hardest to understand this program. Let know if you can help me it would be very helpful. Thanks.

I don't know if I'm going to do another tutorial until I can stop tripping over my own words. When in the pen tool, you didn't say that you wanted white selected as the color you're using. Gah, I knew I forgot something.

There were a lot of things missing from that tutorial. For one thing, it's not a good idea to use a 4 point mask. They used 6 point masks in RvD2 and Bezier Curves, and they didn't use Shadows in Color Balance.

It's still good for showing a basic setup.
I usually use six points, though, one video I'm working on at the minute has 8 points.

I never do more than 6 points, I'm good with bezier curves.

Lol! So am I, it's just that the curved tips that I'm following needed to have a bit of extra emphasis on some frames.
