Wow, I just picked up one of these babies at a TRU by Alderwood Mall near Seattle (for $119.99) and I love it!
It's pretty bright, of course not as bright as in pictures, but I'm pretty satisfied with it. Couple slightly dark spots on the blade, one being in the center where it should be but they don't bother me much.
The sound is nice, seems like it could be better synchronized with my swings but I don't own any other saber to compare it to so it's great as far as I know.
I kind of thought the power up/down light effects would be smoother but it seems the LEDs light up in sections. That's fine with me. If this thing ever breaks I'll just get it converted since the power-up isn't too important to me.
Anyway, that's my thoughts on it so far, I only got to play with it for about 15 minutes and haven't even gotten to take the stickers off yet but I love it!
By the way, if anyone's looking for sabers that TRU has 2 Vaders and 1 Yoda left, but no more Lukes or Anakins when I left. Next on my list is Maul!!
