XBOX 360, and PS3 Demo Info from Star Wars.com www.starwars.com/games/videogames/news20080816.html: On August 21st, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to unleash the Force in the comfort of their own homes by downloading the demo of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed from Xbox Live or the Playstation Network. The demo gives players a taste of one of the early levels in the game: the TIE Fighter Construction Facility, under siege by a Jedi General named Rahm Kota. The Secret Apprentice has been sent by Darth Vader to hunt down and destroy the General, but is also told that, in order to remain a secret, he is to leave no witnesses. Also included in the demo is a tutorial intended to teach players how to use their Force Grip power.

Those look like some sick graphics judging by the screenshots (almost as realistic as the movies themselves).

I downloaded it two days ago and I have played it all the way through 3 times.
The graphics are outstanding and the physics work really well. One of the things that I liked about it, is that if you press the attack button repeatedly really fast he does one combo, if you press the button in succession with a slower more rhythmic quality you get an entirely different combo. Both combos are cool but I suggest the slower one because the animation is seamless and stunning to watch. The fun factor of it is through the roof, I spent ten minutes Force throwing TIE fighters around an empty room. Which brings me to the Force Grip. I’m not sure how they could have done it differently but the way you move objects around after you Force Grip them is a pain in the @$$. You have to hold the button down and use both joysticks to move it around in the air. I like to think that I am pretty coordinated seeing as how I play guitar, bass, piano and drums, but I found this to be harder than trying to eat chicken broth with a fork. The AI is 50/50, it was interesting to see some stormtroopers stand there in the way of my saber while others ran away completely scared, while yet others went to go find cover behind a box. However it was a bit disconcerting when I repeatedly saw baddies getting stuck behind a crate and just running into it. It was almost like they thought that if they smashed their face into it long enough a genie would pop out and give me the finger, or something. The boss fight at the end was cool and seems to take from the God of War series in that you have to press the right button at the right time to pull off super moves that work almost like a fatality.
I was on a video game forum the other day and every one kept saying “You can cut droids in half with one slash, but it takes three or four to kill a person. That’s unrealistic. You should be able to cut people in half just as easy as droids.” And I kinda laughed because you know that these would be the same uppity d!ckheads that would say “the game is way too easy, you kill people with one slash” if it really did work that way. And if it did work that way, the programmers would have had to add 5 times as many baddies to make the game challenging and then what would we have? Gauntlet . . . Gauntlet is what we would have. And that would suck.
I can’t wait for it to come out, I have a feeling it is going to be the best Star Wars game yet.

Someone should probably get that. Interesting. Those look like some sick graphics judging by the screenshots (almost as realistic as the movies themselves). It all depends on your tv, like if you have a HDTV, meaning you can set your AV cable to the HDTV setting instead of regular TV, then yeah. Its gonna be sweet. ;D Sad thing is, I beat the game on hard the first time I played it and got almost all the upgrades, but when I upgraded my Xbox to live gold, I had to create a new gamertag (an official one) so I lost all my progress, so now I have to start all over. =(

Wow that sucks. I am actually now trying the game on PSP. So far it is the same as the PS2 version but I am loving the new aditions onto it. Now the only thing to do is to try the PS3 and WII versions. I am hoping to try the PS3 version pretty soon.
