Who else cried on that scene when Anakin got his hand and legs cut off? i did! i tried not to but it was unbarible! i tried not to let my mom see me. the saddest part was when Obi-Wan said [glow=blue,2,300]"You [/glow] [glow=blue,2,300]where my brother Anakin!" [/glow]and Anakin yelled [glow=red,2,300]"I HATE YOU!"[/glow] or something like that. it was horrible! : '(

Dude that's pathetic that you cried i was more intent on watching the movie and stuff. And besides it was pretty Corney you know. Dude you think crying there is bad? a long time ago at my friends birthday party, we all went to see the first Pokemon movie. This was way back when everyone loved Pokemon. And there was a scene when one of the main guys was hit by some big energy blast and died (he came back to life). There were two kids probably 8 or 9, and they cried. lol |

[glow=red,2,300] I didn't cry alot but it was sad bcuz......well i don't know but it was!  it was the best movie of them all but it wasn't pathetic! i was 11 yrs old when i saw it, and it was just to much for me. i didn't cry alot, maybe 5 to 10 tears came out. Anakin getting into his Darth Vader uniform made up for it though. it was awesome!!!![/glow] [glow=red,2,300]~Darth Xantos[/glow] |

as a jedi he got NO Respect from the jedi councle and i was mad at the jedi for that,all of them except Obi-wan.
but i am glad anakin turned to the darkside.

I didn't cry but I but I made a mistake and voted that i cried cause i didn't read the first part of his post. aw man at first i though he was talking about crying when he killed all the younglings.

I don't know why I didn't feel this scene to be too emotional. I felt Shimi Skywalker's death on AOTC more teary eyed.

The main reason I didn't cry, or feel any real pity for Anakin other than 'That musta hurt' is because he was a villainous character. The defeat of the villain, whether it is death, jail or in this case being brutally maimed, is one of my favorite parts of movies. And no matter how cool and bada$$ that villain is, I have never cried at the villains death. Even the death of my most favorite movie antagonist of all time... (sadly, Vader/Anakin is 2nd)
Now the death of a hero is always shocking to me, and only once did I come close to crying when this happens (other than The Lion King lol) and I won't mention the name because it ruins the story.
