WHOAAA I just looked at mine and I have the full screen version and the scar is on it its just on the LEFTeye

Interesting : in episode VI, when Luke remove Vader's helm, there is no scar on any eye, not even in the lastest ROTJ version (where they removed the eyebrow and change eye color).
