I wouldn't count on it, George said Episode III would be the final fim, but then again, he is very prone to changing his mind (after all, he was once planning to do a sequel trilogy to the OT, and no I'm not referring to the BS SuperShadow talks about, I'm talking about the "legit" sequel trilogy that never happened). Still, I think we've seen Star Wars on the big screen for the final time (at least in the form of new material).

The only thin we can do at this point is wait and hope that one day we are graced with the true knowledge from GL himself. I pray for that day to come. Because now that technology is advanced the next 3 would be great. However, Mark Hamil is looking a little too weathered to play Luke at this point.

They gave anakin greif for being to old and he was only like 9 at the time. Luke was around 20. well, there wasn't exactly an organized Jedi Temple at the time, you know. When the twins were separated at birth, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Bail Organa agreed that they needed to get things rolling to defeat Palpatine and the new Empire. It took Organa, along with Mon Mothma and others, nearly 20 years to build enough momentum to form the Rebel Alliance and have enough resources and manpower to make a critical strike against the Empire. When that time came, Obi-Wan sought out Luke to send him on the proper path toward his destiny. As we all know, it ended up being the right time. As for Luke not using the Force enough...I suppose switching off his targeting computer and DESTROYING THE EMPIRE'S ULTIMATE WEAPON isn't enough for you?!?

Luke had the potential to be a great Jedi. I know, what you are all thinking, let me finish. It shows his training in ANH and his growth in ESB and ROTJ. But here is the problem I have. He hardly ever used the force and esp didn't to give him an edge. I think he should have been a lot better developed. you guys forget that Luke had little formal training. if he had lived in the Jedi temple his whole life, and had trained from childhood, he would have been the most powerful Jedi of all time. As it was, with his minimal training, he was able to hold his own against Vader, even defeating him in ROTJ.

Well, Master Yoda just didn't have enough time to teach Luke all of the light side of the force. Not only that, but you don't see the Jedi using many force powers in any of the movies, really. The only one that stands out to me is Force Pull to get their lightsabers back.

The only reason Luke beat Vader in ROTJ is because he tapped into the dark side, got up, shouted "YARG" and then went ballistic lol. The dark side is the only way - Lord Vader II

Oh goody a Luke bashing party yay ok heres my turn on the bash party. Yes he should have been a well established jedi but he had many flaws. In my opinion he shouldn't been trained as a jedi because he was too old. I also like to say his hair cut is ugly oh man is it ugly! Come on Shivilow. It was a 70's doo. What did you expect? LOL But i do agree. They gave anakin greif for being to old and he was only like 9 at the time. Luke was around 20. I would have loved to see a better fight scene between Luke and Vader. And luke should have used the force more. He lifted some fruit, a cup and an xwing. OK. show us another one Mr Wizard! ...I think Shivilow means Luke's ROTJ haircut (The early 1980's one).

He hardly ever used the force and esp didn't to give him an edge. I think he should have been a lot better developed. follow me through the time line for ESB: han and leia leave hoth. they enter an asteroid feild that same day. they spend the night in the asteroid/cave. and then they head for bespin. they spend a night at bespin (maybe a week?), and are promptly tortured by vader. from han and leia's POV, the timeline adds up to just a few days. (maybe a week? tops?) --> that means Luke spent just a few days on dagobah before he "felt" han and leia getting tortured. (maybe a week. tops) question: how the hell is luke supposed to know ANYhting about the force, at all, when the sum total of his training was 15 minutes with Ben (on the falcon in ep4) + 1week with Yoda on dagobah ? !? he trained for about a week, total. then he faced Vader: a sith lord with 30 years of experience who had been "trained" non-stop since age 10.

Depends how many time there is between ESB and ROTJ : at the end of ESB Luke goes back to Dagobah to finish his training (or let's rather say, continue his training).

I agree. I think that he and Vader should have had better lightsaber battles also. Why didn't Vader just choke him out is my question. The whole two handed lightsaber battle thing just bothers me. Because Vader never thried to kill Luke. In both ESB and ROTJ, he tried to turn Luke into the dark side of the Force.

Because Vader never thried to kill Luke. In both ESB and ROTJ, he tried to turn Luke into the dark side of the Force. Well I have a theory for the two handed fighting, for both characters. Vader: He's stuck in a life sustaining suit. Do you have any idea how freaking heavy that must be? Plus, he's more machine than man, in addition to the life sustaining suit. Aside from that, he wears armor plating on his shoulders, and it is clearly NOT flexible. Tell me, if you were Vader would you really be able to fight with only one hand and do all the intricate spins and attacks Anakin could do before the suit? The suit really restricts his mobility, so he has no choice but to use two hands, aside from the times in ESB where he used only one hand to fend off Luke. Luke: You've got a Jedi Padawan in his twenties, who spent most of his life on a moisture farm on Tatooine. Do you really think that someone like that could have built up enough muscle in those years? His aunt and uncle always kept him busy with work that probably didn't involve much heavy lifting, so he couldn't have built up a whole lot of muscle mass. When he fought Vader in ESB, he had to use both hands to defend himself against Vader's unnatural strength. I also have a theory as to why he uses both hands to attack, but I'm not 100% sure of how to really put it into words so you can all understand, so this will have to do for now, lol.
