It is a very interesting idea, and it makes sense. I am not sure If I can go with this or not. For one, if I remember correctly, Lucas said Anakin had a Christ like birth meaning his mother was a vergin. [glow=red,2,300]BuggyVirus is right, he was supposed to have been born of the metachloriens. ( Excuse the spelling. )According to the prophecy he is the chosen, just not sure what side he is chosen for.[/glow]

As I said in the other topic regarding this, George has repeatedly stated that he left Anakin's origins ambiguous regarding whether he was created by the will of the force itself or the Sith.

First of it's Shmi. Second, wasn't Darth Plagueis a really hideous monster Sith Lord? Yeah, he was totally monstrous, and thanks for pointing out a irrelevant spelling error.

Origin of Anakin Skywalker
In Joseph Campbell's book The Hero with a Thousand Faces there is an entire chapter on virgin birth as an aspect of heroic mythology. Campbell considered Lucas "one of his best students" and Lucas himself has often acknowledged Campbell's importance as one of many inspirations for Star Wars. In the book, the virgin birth is a means of separating the heroic figure from the rest of humanity, marking them as special and isolated from the moment of conception.
As revealed in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Anakin Skywalker has no biological father. His mother, Shmi, was unable to explain to Qui-Gon Jinn how Anakin was conceived. Qui-Gon later theorized that Anakin was conceived by the midi-chlorians themselves, in accord with the will of the Force. This theory, combined with Anakin's unusually high midi-chlorian count and powerful connection to the Force, led Qui-Gon to believe that Anakin was the prophesied "Chosen One" who would bring balance to the Force.
It has been suggested in Vader: The Ultimate Guide that Plagueis or Sidious, created Anakin Skywalker in his mother's womb. According to Star Wars: The New Essential Chronology, Darth Plagueis indeed knew how to create life, and may have sought to create a replacement for his apprentice, Darth Sidious. However, more than likely it was Sidious that created him, considering that Plagueis had died before Anakin's conception.
Another theory labels Sidious, armed with the ability to influence midi-chlorians, as Anakin's creator. Ian McDiarmid has stated in interviews that Sidious was 120 years old or so, as told to him by Lucas while filming. Sidious may give a hint to his age in Revenge of the Sith when he explains the Sith legend of Darth Plagueis the Wise. It is possible that when Sidious labels the story as legend, he is implying that many years, perhaps various decades, have passed since Plagueis's passing. If that is the case, it would have been impossible for Plagueis to create Anakin within the womb of Shmi, leaving Sidious as the only other option. Further indications of Sidious as the creator of Anakin comes at the conclusion of The Phantom Menace, as Palpatine greets Anakin after the Battle of Naboo and says, "And you, young Skywalker. We will watch your career with great interest," implying Sidious may have had foreknowledge of Anakin's creation and destiny.
The true extent of Plagueis's and Sidious' powers may never be revealed. In the June 2, 2005 issue of Rolling Stone, George Lucas stated that Plagueis or Sidious and their possible role in Anakin Skywalker's conception were intentionally left ambiguous.

Well that pretty much sums it up right there, kudos Vader I totally agree with that, and I also have and will always believe that Sidious was indeed the creator of Anakin, since he hinted it way too much that he was in episode 3. I mean seriously, when he slowly turned his head to Anakin and smirked when looked at Anakin directly and said "To create.....Life."

why can't people accept the fact that anakin was created by the force?. no offense to the person who posted this up. but a jedi attacking anakins father in the desert?. but didn't the jedi believe the sith to be extinct at that time?. if that's true then they was aware of the existence of the sith. and that makes no sense.i think that graphic novel is one of dose "what if" storys.

This was taken from Amazon.com ... Doesn't sound anything like a book that's going to give light to the orgin of Anakin Skywalker.
Anakin's Fate: Star Wars Episode I (A Step into Reading Jedi Reader, Step 4) (Paperback)
Editorial Reviews Book Description A wonderful original adventure, showing Anakin's daily life on Anakin Skywalker believes that one day he will be more than just a slave. He has dreams. Maybe someday he will leave Tatooine and become a space pilot, or even a Jedi Knight! But how can he become a pilot when he can't win-or even finish-a Podrace? Will Anakin be stuck doing Watto's dirty work forever? Or will he follow his dreams to a greater destiny?
Card catalog description Anakin Skywalker fights to believe in his dreams in spite of his day-to-day life as a slave on the planet Tatooine.

Excerpt. © Reprinted by permission. All rights reserved. The yellow Podracer sped through the desert, kicking up dust. Sunlight bounced off the massive engines. Flames shot from the afterburners.
Anakin Skywalker sat at the controls. He pushed the throttle. The Pod leaped forward. It flew past the other racers and screamed across the finish line.
The other racers weren't even close.
The crowd cheered and ran onto the field. They lifted Anakin onto their shoulders and carried him to the winner's circle. A wise man and an angel were waiting for him there.
Jabba the Hutt raised Anakin's arm in victory. The cheers grew louder.
Then he heard his mother's voice. "Time to get up!"
Anakin opened his eyes, surprised to find himself in bed.
It was a dream, he realized. What an amazing dream!
He had finally won a Podrace. But who were those strangers in my dream? he wondered.
"Anakin! Don't be late for work!"
Anakin's smile turned into a frown.
It was just another day of work in Watto's junk shop. Another day as a slave.
But life wasn't all bad. He could smell something wonderful--his mother was cooking his favorite breakfast.
Anakin greeted his mother, Shmi, at the kitchen table.
As he ate, he thought about his dream.
"Are there really angels?" Anakin asked.
Shmi sat down next to her son. "There are so many stars that anything is possible," she said. "Even angels."
"Space pilots say angels live on the Moons of Iego," Anakin said. "They are so pretty they can make a spice pirate cry."
"Well, maybe you will meet an angel someday," said Shmi. "But right now, Watto will be angry at you if you're late."
Anakin hugged his mother.
"Be careful, Annie," Shmi whispered, holding him tightly. "And don't work too late."
Anakin laughed. "That's up to Watto."

And furthermore, Wookieepedia's Timeline of galactic history is curiously missing this crucial bit of information regarding the slaying of Anakin's father!

Anakin did not have a father and this theory ( and that is all it is ) is full of holes. I for one think its a load of BS.
