I hear a lot of things about how Kotor II isn't that good...I liked the game personally I would just like to know what exactly the knock on it really is???

The thing I didn't like is the story line really. Like all the Jedi's are killed?
I don't like that too much. That only happened during Episode 3. I think that making all the Jedi's dead is the downside to the game. I think they should try and keep it a little closer running with the Star Wars history. Only with Order 66 were all the Jedi's killed. Never before in the Star Wars history is there a mention of this. At least with KOTOR 1 it could have been part of the Star Wars history just not talked about much. Well except for the Taris thing.
Hopefully KOTOR 3 won't have a poopty story line. I'm hoping the story line will be as good as the first KOTOR.

Newsflash It Just Happen 4000 years ago. im sure you know alot about star wars history! In Order 66 not all jedi were Dead There was Kenobi and Yoda and a few other jedi that survived. There is not Star wars History Its Just a movie Yeesh! Even If all jedi were alive the game would still be the same!

I'm not going to lie, I personally kinda think the reason KOTOR II didnt do well..
Also another thing, Kotor II is to short...
However, when Lucas Arts teamed with BioWare, it seems like they brought the game down.
If KotorII had entirely been up to BioWare as Kotor I did, I'm betting it might of turned out better.

KOTOR2 had the potential to be even more phenomenal than the first game in its story . just the potential though unfortunately . many people are blaming obsidian and saying that it would have been better if bioware made it ... blah blah blah . look at what bioware did with jade empire and you'll realise that even though they are geniuses when it come to RPGs , even they came make mistakes . the reason KOTOR2 was so buggy and had such a crappy story ( well at least compared to KOTOR ) was that LA had to rush the game and give unrealistic timeframe to obsidian . there are many features of the game that were cut ( like xbox live feature DLcontent ) as well as scenes cut off the game because of that , and it left us with a game that is unfinished . is it a bad game though ? not by any means if you can deal with some bugs in the gameplay and some inconsistencies with the story . it should be available for pretty cheat , if you like the first one , give this one a try .

I say definitely play this one as well. The extra upgrade options for Lightsabers..... phenomenal. This alone makes the game well worth playing.
The only issue I had was the storyline. That wrecked it for me.

I thought it was good overall. I really like the way the story adapted to your responses. It didn't like the ending either. No matter what you did, the end was the same. The dark side was much easier.

Yeah.. the dark side was much easier. I liked the game... but not as much as the first one. I look forward to playing the third one.

I enjoyed KOTOR 2 a lot. Not as much as the first one, but still, it was pretty freaking good regardless.

If you look at the credits of KOTOR II, there is a list of those that work for Bioware.

To be honest with u guys i Loved KOTOR 2 One was good, BUT....but the fighting style is better, the force powers were better, Being able to see ur face change when u turn to the dark side is awesome and just being able to turn ur crew to the dark side (or Light side) Is awesome. But there were some things that made me mad...just like all the other games i play. Even though KOTOR isn't just a game U guys have high hopes for wut is to come later on in the future.
By any chance do u know when KOTOR 3 is coming out?
