If they do make a third, it better have more variety. Not in mappage, but in objectives. I think the taking over of spawn areas is getting old. What about actually doing some sabotage or guarding of an important asset? Some clear and important objectives per map would be cool.

In Battlefront 1, there are Jedi Heroes but you couldn't play them.
In Battlefront 2, you can play the Jedi Heroes along with others.
Here's my idea for Battlefront 3 (if there is going to be one): customizable Jedi Heroes.

I would love another battlefront three but IMO I don't think they're gonna.

in a sense i agree with Derek on the customizing and i agree on the spawn kill that Darth toothless said i hope there to be more playable chars and you an actually us a Jedi/sith up to their full potential instead of having the same combination do something where you press certain buttons you get different moves with the lightsaber or whatever the chars has blaster crossbow for those you could have dif ammunition or something like that and blocking like it should be harder to block i mean like i said with the attack you should have to sorta like guess what the opponent is doing and block with you saber using different buttons just a thought

Not the same as the Lego Star Wars II customization), but I do agree with your idea. Here's an example: Let's say that I customize my character to have brown hair, two blue lightsabers, the saber-throw Force power, the Force-push, & my alignment is in the Heroes section. My character is playable in the Assault on Mos Eisley, & might be playable on different worlds (for my idea, there is a menu that you can switch from "custom hero on" to "custom hero off"). What do you think? Anyone need more detail?

I doubt they will make a third. The concept of the game is getting old.

Free Radical To Develop Star Wars Battlefront III
Posted By Dustin on September 30, 2006
As everyone has been speculating there is now more proof that Free Radical will be developing Star Wars Battlefront III, here is a small snippet from mygen.com:
The next instalment in the massively successful Star Wars: Battlefront series is being developed by the UK-based developer Free Radical, CVG can exclusively reveal.
Our investigative reporters have learned that this is the fruit of the Nottingham-based studio's recently announced partnership with LucasArts.
No further details were offered from our sources, but after the massive success of the first two Battlefront games, we can't wait to see what Free Radical - with its years of experience working on shooters like TimeSplitters and GoldenEye - will do with the license.
Read more right here!
Special thanks to James Everett from the Coruscant-Cast for the heads up!
