Hey, I'm a newbie with this stuff, what would be better for a beginner like myself? Adobe's After Effects, or FXHome's Effects Lab? And another question I had was, how do you add sound to your finished films? .:Jordan:.

Depends on your budget. Fxhome is about 5 times cheaper, depending on the version you buy, and after effects is about $600. If you're a student, you can get student discounts for both of those. I would buy them off their websites, such as www.adobe.com

Its really easy to add sound, depending on your OS. If you have premiere or after effects, use that. If neither, use iMovie or even Windows Movie Maker.Just download the sounds from somewhere, such as theforce.net, and import them into your program. Now its just finding where to put each sound, this takes awhile if your a newbie. Sometimes you may have to go through multiple exports to get the effect you want.
