Just got done beating the game last night. First off, this game is REALLY short...only took me between 7-8 hours to finish, split up over about 3 nights of gaming.
The squad is very intelligent; they'll figure out what to do without you telling them to. Usually, I have the squad formed up behind me, then they won't get in the way of my fire while I'm killing things...
There are certain areas in the game where you'll come across "droid dispensers", and they'll need to be rigged with an explosive charge to destroy them. You could designate one of your squad members to set the bomb; it takes about 20 seconds to set up. What works a lot better is if you designate your sqaud members to use turrets/snipe/throw grenades while YOU go and set up the bomb. When you send one of your squad members to set it up, they'll stand there, take enemy fire, get knocked out, then you'll have to go and rescue them, and start the process all over. If you do this job yourself, once your shield starts to go down, you can take evasive action until the threat is gone, then resume setting up the bomb. This will make the game a lot easier.
If you set up your squad members to use a turret/snipe/throw grenades, remember to cancel their orders when the combat is over and you're moving out to a different area. Otherwise, they'll stand there and wait until you remember who you left behind.
Make sure you pick up and experiment with the different weapons you'll come across in the game. Some work better than your rifle against the enemies you'll be fighting.
Overall, it was a good game, just short. I'm hoping they come out with another in the future.
Enjoy!
