Hi all I should be getting my first MR saber tomorrow - a Vader ANH I've also had an order in for a month now for a Luke ANH and I'm starting to wonder whether they're ever gonna get any stock in since they're now discontinued. However they have the Yoda saber in stock and it does look like one sweet little saber. Decisions decisions.....!! I'd love to get both, but with my wife off work at the moment I shouldn't even be buying two really!!! So if it came to a choice between the two sabers which would you guys go for?

i have both a luke anh and a yoda and i must say they are both great very bright nicely made i enjoy the yoda because its light and fun to spin and you can do it in the house with the luke the blue blade is very bright and has a nicely detaild hilt that looks differnt to any other saber apart from the other luke and anakin:P

Well my first FX turned up this morning, for some reason they sent me a Yoda instead of the Vader I ordered... I was quite set on the Vader so was initially disappointed but this little saber is growing on me! It's put together nicely and very bright. My only criticism - and this may be the same on all FX sabers for all I know - is that the sound is slightly static/crackly especially the 'motion' sound. But aside from that it's great. I now need to practice some spinning moves... ;D Anyway I've just ordered a Vader ANH again as I feel a bit cheated!!

I have all three of these
In terms of Hilts, the Luke is beautiful, but its creaky and doesnt feel as solid.
the yoda is very loud and super bright, but a bit plastic-y. it is however great to spin and hold, its not too small.
The Vader hilt is supremely impressive. Its also very red , but its quieter. However, the sound effects are great, and very menacing.
All three are great, Id get all three.
If its a definitely choice, id take the yoda as its more solid and reliable feeling to me. its also quite unique.

Dude, i've got the Yoda and i must admit it is very crackly sounding, but a nice saber. I have the Luke ANH and its so light and the blade is awesome on it so you gotta get it. I am gonna grab the Vader ANH one next (they are doing them at our local Gamestation for £49.99) I already have the Vader ESB and love it to bits so i know i wont be disappointed. ...collecting sabers is addictive!!

Cheers for the advice guys. My Vader ANH has just turned up and what can I say, I'm well chuffed with it ;D ;D The sounds are clearer than the yoda although slightly quieter, the blade is bright enough. I love the hilt detail, it's more complex than the yoda and I thought it would be awkward to hold with the control box and grips but it's fine. invisibletomcat - www.play.com have the Vader ANH in stock for £39.99 delivered, that's where I just got these two from. Also last night I started machining my own hilt from some old ally pipe, which just happens to be the ideal 1.5" size and will eventually be a Luxeon with an Ultrasabers blade. Question is, do I go 3W or K2?
