Since the Mace windu lightsaber uses 6 batteries, does it last any longer then the other ones that use 3?

Since the Mace windu lightsaber uses 6 batteries, does it last any longer then the other ones that use 3? Actually, it does to a certain degree. The Mace Windu, and Luke ROTJ 6 Cell LED sabers are actually only running on 4.5V. The reason it is only 4.5V is because instead of being 9V like the EL models of the Luke ROTJ from which the battery pack design was recycled. The 6AA pack is actually TWO 3AA packs wired in parallel. 6AA in series: 1.5V x 6 = 9V (Current in milliamp hours is the same as what a single battery is rated at) 6AA in Parallel: 1.5V x 6 (3//3) = 4.5V with 2x the mAh... Example: Let's say we have a 6AA paralelled pack. In this pack we put 6 x 1.5V@1500mAh batteries in it, and the pack is a 3//3 configuration. By running this pack in parallel you are doubling the mAh to 3000mAh but keeping the voltage @ 4.5V Now if you were to serial connect a pack of just 3AA you Get 4.5V@1500mAh
