Peace be upon you all! After months of browsing, I finally registered and here is my first post which will deal briefly with the new and amazing Yoda Force FX. I must begin by saying that this saber is simply blazing and buzzing with intense green light and intimidating sounds. I own two Darth Maul Force FXs and really love them but this little green one puts up a big fight in a little package! It honestly caught me off guard. When I first put the batteries in, went into the living room, cut off the lights, told my kids to gather around and pushed that little switch up.... we all were literally startled and jumped back a little! It lit up the whole room and filled our ears with a surprisingly loud but sweet buzz/humm that gives you that excitement and energy that could put the energy drink industry out of business! I hope ya'll feel me on this. Just look at the video still of my daughter holding the Yoda FX and you can see how green the walls are. If I'm not mistaken, I counted 3 or 4 different clash sounds compared to 1 on the Maul! In regards to the light weight of the saber, if you consider the concept that since lightsabers are made of light and therefore all the weight is in the hilt, then the Yoda FX gives me the best simulated "feeling" of wielding a lightsaber when you combine the light weight and intense sounds. In regards to spins, once you find your place you can do most of the common spins found on the indispensable Saberspin Tutorial DVD -even that tricky, horizontal, over the back of hand spin that JediBandit demos. The lighter weight allowed me to spin quicker and with less fatigue on my carpal-tunneled wrists! I also don't have to worry about the "ceiling-bumping" issue when I swing in the living room that I have yet to explain to my neighbor I would love to own two of these for some swift, dual saber action as well as buy a custom made coupler (hint, hint) for some blazing-green saber staff action. The small size also means my enthusiastic 9 year old can join in the skit-making fun. My only complaint is that I would much prefer an all metal emitter section instead of the black plastic one. The extra durability is worth it for a saber of this importance and cost. You can see a short video I made of the Yoda Force FX in action at the following YouTube link... youtube.com/watch?v=OKYXuqDB_-MThanks to all who keep this forum alive and a special thanks to Master Kit Fisto for "keepin' it lit" -the lightsabers that is! My next videos will be shot with a DV Camcorder so that the sights and sounds will be clearer. I love shooting video and taking photos of lightsaber action so if anyone is in the Bay Area of Cali........ -Bin Adam
Binadam I came across this video on youtube ever before you posted this one the forums. I loved it,your daughter kicks ass ,the force is strong with her.. Its great to have you on the forums welcome.

Wow that is cooler than I thought. When I first heard of MR doing a Yoda I thought it would be utter rubbish, but it actually looks and sounds really good. If only I had the money - Darth Vader II

Great review.
What I love about the yoda is the fact that it's small enough to easily weild two, but big enough so that it doesn't seem like a tiny saber. I can also clip it to a belt without it dragging on the ground.

Wow, all of my MR's are converted but when lit Yoda's looks a lot better than my ROTJ. I bet with the blade being shorter if it was converted to Luxeon it would be super bright!!! I do love the hilt style but due to it's size I don't think I'm gonna buy it.

I liked the Video, you have some sweet move. But mine are sweeter. I acctuly have been training scince i was 4years old. My uncle is a Star Wars Freak and i have to live with him cause my moms dead and my dad runed away. He has a Luke ROTJ Force Fx. He told me i am not ready to weild a saber of so much power. What ever i'll buy my own. Well anyway if anyone can send me some more fx's demo videos my e-mail is on my page. Thanks. MTFBWY!!!

You guys have no idea just how hard it was to do this video today. the forces of nature where against me.. First I had to go up to my managements office 3 different time,as there where not there, showing apartments or something.. The I finally get the Yoda and I was out of mini dv tapes. So once I get the tapes and start recording, but my cam keeps stopping and eating my tape .. Then I finally get all the footage and my cam wont play any more, all it will do it eat tapes.. So I let the can rest for about 30 min and try it again. First it ate the tape again, but then it started playin back.. So I run to my pc to capture the video and right b4 the video ends the battery goes dead and I have to capture it again.. Well It took me 4 trys to capture it,my Pc blue screened 3 times.. Then finally I got all the footage in my pc and go to arrange the time line and it keeps freezing up.. Well 3 blue screens and 6 pc spontaneous reboots I finally got it.. I have to latterly save every step it was crashing so much.. I don`y know how I'm going to film my combat trials video,my Dv cam is on its last leg.. I might have to hurry up and sell my Yoda b4 MR gets um in stock to finance a new Mini Dv cam I can live without a Dv cam.. What a frigen day.. Wow! Sounds like you were just not meant to review the Yoda!
