Hi guys! I'm very sorry if the answer I seek is already on the forum, I took a look but I haven't found any. I'm looking forward to buy the Luke Skywalker ANH ForceFX Lightsaber, but I have a question about the quality of the glowing. I've looked at different videos about this saber on youtube, but the glowing is different on each, so I would like your opinion, if you don't mind, about the glowing of the lightsaber shown in theses videos : www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4SK0valP1g-This video is what I look most forward, seems very realistic www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk6lX9O91I0- I don't like the glowing quality in this one, I don't know if it's me, but it's really more purple than blue. Maybe it is because of the camera that the color seems different? www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6s27cKqhHo-This one is awesome, but I have a feeling he might touched the color with a video editing program such as After Effects since it's glowing so bright and there is a good amount of light in the room. So what do you guys think? What should I expect? Your help is very much appreciated THank you very much for your answer and for your time!

Hey Darth Nihilus and welcome.
Luke ANH was my second saber but I was very unsure whether I was going to buy it because others have claimed it wasn't as bright as some of the other sabers. They were wrong. My blade is very bright and looks fantastic. The first video is like the brightness of my blade on a fresh set of good quality batteries. Batteries are very important, cheap ones reflect in less brightness, sound etc.
The second video, I reckon the camera picked up the colour of the blade not very well. Ie poor quality of the camera.
The third video looks real, I dont think it's been touched up in any way. Again, it all depends on the batteries you use.
My advice go for it. It's a great saber. I have four now and I find all of them have good bright blades. I highly doubt you will be dissappointed with the brightness to be honest. It looks good in daylight but when it's dark...wow...
Hope I've helped in some way :-) Good luck
Scott
PS use Durcell Ultra or Energizer Ultra/Ultimate batteries for the best results

These are all the camera. This is what I thought I'd get when I got a Mace FX. The core will be a solid blue, no white-hot core. The only effect on brightness of the saber would be the batteries you use and XWing said that he messed with the strips and disable the resistor to make it like 2X as bright.

Your all welcome.
"disable the resistor to make it like 2X as bright."
Darth Nerdold, I didn't know you could make it brighter by the way, personally I would never attempt doing it but how did he manage to make it brighter?

I don't know anything about this guys. This is exactly what he told me:
Heck just today I was futzing with MR strips. Take out the SMD resistors and you can make a blade 2x as bright running off a 4.8V battery pack.
