Hello, I'm new and i'm from Italy ;D Less than 1 year ago i get my first Lightsaber FX.....the Obi Wan episode 3 as i heard it's one of the most solid and because was newest....it's durability was compared to anakin ep. 3. Great impressions and very nice durability Now i get 2 new sabers....i take the Luke ANH and Vader ANH (both 30 yars adniversary). I fell a little bit disappointed because to hear the sound of the crash effect of both the sabers you must hit a little bit harder (a little bit more on the Vader). While in my old Obi-Wan just needed a touch to make an Hit! Is this normal? Then, second problem...... I feel the Luke ANH so...so lightweight....it does not give you the impression of solid that gave me the Obi-Wan. How do it works in slow-med duels? Mine is just an impression or it's a solid saber? I ask it because as i knew that the Anakin EP3 was one of the most solid, the reason i get this one was that they are identical on hilt! Thank you for your patience and May the Force be with you

Welcome to the forums, oby1ita.
I can only answer the second question, not being an expert myself, but I can hypothesize for the first. The Obi Wan was one of the newer ones, probably with more sensitive equipment.
For the second one, having the same outside doesn't mean they have the same insides, which would give you the 'lightweight' feel.

Hmm I can understand what you mean but personally, I love my Luke ANH, it's a good wieght saber for me. I find the Vader is far too heavy. The Maul is probably the best suited wieght for me though.
Sensitivity of clash effects can vary. For example some say the Yoda isn't very good in terms of motion and sound but this saber is the most sensitive in my collection.
I guess it's pot luck to a certain degree.

There's no way the Luke ANH and Anakin ROTS are identical in hilt. If you compare them side to side, there are a lot of differences.
