just recently got a brand new Ep 4 Vader had it for about two weeks just waving it around with only light thumps on the ceiling and destroying a litebulb..it's creaking when I wave it.
Is this a sign of immanent death (blade snapping off)?

Hi and welcome to the forum!!No is your answer.Yes will be your answer if you keep on hitting things with your blade. Those sabers are cool;but, you do walk a thin line between messing up your leds. ;D

i agree, i wouldn't go hitting it hard against again or you willdo some serious damage. Some blades just creak alot its quite common but if you have been hitting it against things it can make it alot worse.

PS: Creaking blades is just a sign of something rubbing inside the hilt. Nothing to worry about. Take the others' advice, though, don't hit it against stuff unless you're going to convert it.

You can hit, just not too hard. The first day I had my Maul and ROTJ Luke, my friend and I were smacking them pretty hard against each other and we didn't break a thing.

You can hit them on stuff pretty hard but be careful because the LEDs WILL break. So be careful, unless you are planing on converting it to and ultrasaber.
