I'm a huge fan of Star Wars, always have been, and can you believe that I had never heard of Force FX lightsabers until about a week ago? I am not big into collectables or anything like that of any sort, but when I saw them on Youtube I spent 2 hours just watching video's of reviews. 2 1/2 hours later and my Luke ROTJ Force FX lightsaber is on it's way and I will be getting it on Monday. I then went out looking at websites and for forums such as this. I've been all over Ultrasabers.com and Plecterlabs. Let me just say that I am so happy to have found this place and while I'm not a big poster, I think I found a new hobby! I'll keep you all updated on when my saber arrives and post some pics.
P.S. I am buying a house so it won't be easy to get more sabers, although my birthday is in december, I'm going to get another one via "donations" to the Jeff birthday fund, compliments of my family. OK, I'll be back to this thread Monday with one or two pics!!

Well it arrived today, works like a charm, sounds great, no dead spots or creaking, so I couldn't be happier. WOOT! I've seen some of them converted that still have the power up and power down effect. Maybe I'm just crossed up from all of the viewing and research I've been doing, but it seemed like Luxeon took out the LED lights up the blade and replaced them with a single light in the hilt. So no realistic Power up and Power down, which I don't like and don't find worth converting. Maybe it was a typo on the title on a youtube video but I've seen "converted" sabers with the power up and power down effect intact. Can anyone explain this to me?
