[[Chapter 1]]


Aranek stood before the Council waiting for the brief on his next mission. Aranek was a Jedi Knight, but he refused to take in a padawan. He was a proud man. Tall but friendly. He was the one that lead the Attack on Korriban just under a week ago. Now he stands before the Masters for another mission.
"It will be done masters" Aranek said as he left the chamber and went down the lift. As he exited his hood flung over his head, he was heading for the main hangar bay.

"Clone, bring your best Arc Troopers and meet me on these Co-ordinates" Aranek slid the pad into the Clone's hand not looking back. He didn't need to he could sense the Clone sending the message to several people.
"Lehon hey. Been a long time since someone bothered going back there. I hope the Informant is right otherwise I'm going to be very unpleasant" He slipped into his personal modified starfighter and took off.

The trip took some time but eventually he arrived at his destination. He had only to wait a few minutes before twenty fighters came into view.
"Arc Trooper squadron ready, Sir" Said a battle ready voice on the intercom.
"Land on the planet and set up a perimeter, then wait for further orders" Aranek ordered the troopers who immediately obeyed as the fighters left orbit and headed toward the planet's surface.

The planet was similar to Kashyyyk, Some of the Troopers even said so. Aranek was pleased to have Arc Troopers at his side.
"Update me Trooper" He told the closest one.
"We are setting up a thirty meter perimeter, Sir. We are trained to do our job. So I ask you, What are we doing here?" The Troopers question was the same as his, he had no idea why either. It came clear in a few seconds as a patrol of Super Battle Droids came around the corner.
"SBD's! SBD's!" Yelled a Trooper, as he said that the Clones turned and decimated everyone one of them before Aranek could lunge at them.
"Good work Arc Troopers!. Finish the perimeter and relax until another lot come" Aranek said this because they deserved it. He was glad to be here with these Clones. He felt safe for the moment.

In the morning he woke to the sound of blaster fire and grabbed his hilt and ran toward the area where it came from. When he got there he was in front of a large Rancor.

"My day is getting worse since I woke up".

He muttered to himself. He then jumped up on the Rancor's arm and activated his lightsaber, the purple blade came to life as he sprang off the arm flying above the head of his enemy. He then plunged his saber into the head of the beast making it stumble.

"My day is getting bett- why do droids show up now?".

He yelled at the top of his voice so the Troopers could hear. The troopers then turned to se three partols of SBD's and Droidekas heading their way.

"You, fire the missile! everyone else scrap these bag of bolts!" The leader of the Arc's ordered. And within seconds the small beach turned into a battlefield.

Aranek was still on the head of the stumbling Rancor dodging bullets and staying balanced. He then decided he had enough and jumped off the head and used the force to throw the beast over the cliff. He then joined the battle, his saber made a loud hum as he swung to delfect the fire heading toward his troops. The Troopers had stayed behind him shooting the droids on the cliffs giving him a better chance of defeating the droids on the ground.

Arc Trooper Damien had seen many Jedi fight before; Yoda, Mace Windu, General Kenobi, Master Skywalker, Ki-adi Mundi, and Kit Fitso. But this Jedi fought like none he had ever seen. He fought like he had nothing to lose. And he respected him for that. He thought Aranek Fought for a cause, guess not.

"Cover me men! I'm going to help the Jedi!" Damien Shouted his command abnd his troops obeyed. Now he was going to see real action.

Aranek Sliced his way through countless droids, his arms seemed to get heavier each droid he cut down. Then he saw Damien Land next to him shooting like mad, Damien then pulled out a sword and slaughter every droid within arm reach. Damien followed tril he was next to him. They fought back to back four a while alone. Then blaster fire showered from the cliffs as the other Arc Troopers found them shouting and cursing at the droids. Now Aranek knows the Clones are trust worthy. He would die for them.

[[Chapter 3]]

Aranek could feel the sweat running down his cheek to his chin. He wiped it away and then follwed the men to a better hiding spot for camp. When they reached camp the men were already bragging about their kills. Damien was bragging about helping the general, it made him laugh, then Damien left the receive a transmission. It lasted a few seconds, Damien then ordered his men with hand siginals. Aranek knew all too well what it meant; Take out the Jedi.

Aranek slowly reached for his lightsaber and waited. When they were close enough he leaped at the Clones killing them. After killing all the Clones, including Damien, he headed for his starfighter. After a few minutes he reached his ship and got in. Aranek was confused, shaocked and above all frightened. He punched in co ordinates and headed for Coruscant.

"Hello? Is anyione there? Hello? This is Jedi Knight Aranek. Can anyone hear me?....Bugger"

He flew into hyperspace and thought to himself. What could have made the Clones do that? He had time now. He can meditate on this. His eyes closed and then relaxed his muscles, he controlled his breathing and focused. It wasn't long until he reached Coruscant.

He headed straight for the planet. When he got there he saw the Temple in flames. He sped his way to the main hangar. As he expected Cones were waiting for him. He got out and made a conversation.

"What is going on trooper?"

"Nothing you need the concern yourself with Jedi"

"What did you say?"

"BLAST HIM!"

Aranek had a close call, as he activated his saber a bolt missed his face by a mere centimeter. He deflected the bolts, and carved the Clones into pieces. He picked up a DC-15 for long range and some extra ammo. He then made his way into the Temple.

What he saw was a slaughter. Younglings, padawans Knights, even Masters, he fell to his knees as he saw his old master lying face down with several blastes to the back.

"I'm sorry Master. I'm so sorry".

He turned quickly and saw a Youngling. He got up and ran to her. her face was covered in scorch marks.

"What happened Youngling? Who did this?

"The Soldiers attacked us. They killed us, but not him, not the one they called Vader. But he looked like Master Skywalker".

He cursed undfer his breath and looked at the young Jedi.

"It was Skywalker, he is a Sith now. Can you tell me if there are any alive? Any Jedi?

She didn't say anything she just sat there looking away. He checked her pulse. There was none. A tear fell from his face. He screamed as loud as humanly possible. He slowly got up still looking at the six year old Jedi, he turned and walked away. He then made his way to the Council Chamber. As he expected Some of the Masters were still sitting down when they died.

He tore off his sleeves and tossed them to the ground. Then his robe sleeves followed. He marched out of the chamber. He was going to Chancellor Palpatine for answers as usual.

It had been some time since he had gone to the Chancellor for help, on his way he encountered a large patrol of troops, led by Anakin Skywalker. And before he knew it his hilt was in his hand. He waited for them to pass, then used the force to speed up. Then in a second he fell.

He was falling through a hole, it looked as though lightsabers made it. As the hole ended he flipped and landed square on his feet.

"Bloody holes"

He contiued down the passage, it must have been ten minutes until he found the only survivors of the Jedi. As they saw him their eyes gleamed with joy, they all reconised him.

"What just happened up there? Why are they attacking us?"

"We don't know. We were walking with a patrol nd then just turned around and shot at us. We are all that's left"

"Just hope Delta Squad wasn't turned. Then we'll need a reason to fear the Clones"

He then turned away from the others and activated his transmitter.

"Calling Delta Squad leader, do you read me? Repeat calling Delta leader"

The siginal was weak but he was able to hear the crakling voice of Delta leader.

"Who is this? Identify yourself"

"This is General Aranek of the Jedi Order"

"Sorry sir for being rude sir. What can we do?

"What's going on up there trooper?"

"You've got me, I have no idea what is going on"

"Can you get us out?"

"Yes sir, we'll be support for your escort. And did you say 'us'?

He hesitated for a moment. He ad no idea if they had order 66 programmed into them, but then again he had no idea what was going on.

"Yes there are a few remaining Jedi, I'll send you their co-ordinates, I'm gonna have a word with the Cahncellor"

The Chancellor was the only one who could activate order 66. He was going for a bit of revenge. For the Jedi future.

Aranek felt betrayed. he couldn't believe the Chancellor would do such a thing. He raced to the hangar not stopping cutting down any Clone before they knew what hit them, and before he knew it he was in his personal modified fighter. He powered it up and shot out dodging incoming fire from the Plasma Cannons.

It had been five minutes of flying and he was at the Chancellors window. He saw him. In disgust he put up his middle finger at him. Aranek Smashed his way out of his cockpit through the windshield, and into the room.

"Traitor! How could you? We trusted you with our lives and now hundreds of Jedi are now dea..."

He saw the hands of the former master Mace Windu. His eyes darted back into the Chancellors, his eyes filled with hatred.

"Good, let it take over. Use your anger, join us. And we will become the supreme power of the galaxy."

"I don't think so."

Aranek threw the force at him at range of not even two metres. Everything shattered from the massive Force Wave. Even the Chancellor was thrown back. It was going to end here tonight, by him.

The chancellor didn't get up, but the room exploded in a giant Force Repulse sending Aranek flying across the room.

"You are no match for me boy! I am the Darkside!"

Aranek stood to his full height and picked up the chancellor with little effort, he punched hiim into gut, then he brought him right up to his face, Aranek's breathing was steady, and even.

"And I...am one pain in the ass to kill!"

Aranek threw the Chancellor out the doorway, and activated his lightsaber. The Chancellor sprang up and a red blade emitted from his hands. He looked into the yes of the old man, the eyes of hatred, of no fear, of death. The purple blade shot forward, but the Chancellor twisted over the entire blade striking at it while in mid air.

The lightsabers met every second, blades high and low, and even center. Then in a sudden move , Aranek rolled under a swing and pulled Palpatine's leg back, making the man trip. Getting up he lowered the blade, and pointed it at the Chancellor.

"Surrender or die Sith!"

The Chancellor rasied his hands then smiled. Aranek was hit with lightning that lunged from the Chancellors hands, sending the Jedi throught the hall, and into the room he was in before. His head hit the desk hard. He shook off the effects it had as the Chancellor walked into the room.

"I am the Emperor, I am the Senate, I am the Sith!"

The Emperor, used the force and picked up Aranek and threw him out the window. Aranek was falling again, he flipped and dodged incoming traffic, then several ARC-170's came into view. Aranek reached for his lightsaber. He didn't have it!

"Blast!"

Looking up he used the force and pulled down anything that was connected to the force. Several objects fell, he saw his lightsaber, he pulled it to him just in time. Turning tit on he slashed a fighter, in half. He then landed on a shuttle. The fighters were still after him. He retracted the blade and clipped it to his belt. The fighters shot at the Shuttle.

Using the force he focused on the energy of the blasts, and stopped them in their tracks. The fighters then flew into the wall of red energy exploding. Aranek fell to his knees placed his hands on the shuttle, and panted.

Exhausted he rolled onto his back, the shuttle took a sharp turn falling downward he then dropped into a apartment, he hit the glass ceiling cutting his torso in many areas, then a second later he smashed into the floor. A young woman ran to him, so beautiful. He then slipped into darkness of unconsciousness.

[[Chapter 7]]


It has been weeks, slipping in and out of consciousness, staying awake for only a few minutes at any one time. Attempting to centre himself he tried to locate the other Jedi by using the Force. No luck. he opened his eyes, his lower lip trembled, and a tear fell down the side of his face. He was alone.

A full month passed, and he was able to get up and walk around, he was in a hut of some sort. He could hear chattering outside, they sounded like clones, but only different. The voices were more harsh, older. He picked up his lightsaber and kicked down the door to see a clone about to go in, turning on his lightsaber he shuved it into the clones's stomach. Then blackness.

He woke in the same bed. But this time he was restrained to the pillars. He struggled to get out, but it did no good. He even tried the Force. No good.

"Let me out now! I demand to be let out!"

A voice came from nowhere, a old, husky voice.

"Why should we do that? You killed our contact in the Empire. We have no way to get intel."

Aranek turned his head to the side looking at a wall. He took a deep breath, and breathed out.

"Because I'm alone...Scared. I'm lost"

A sigh came from behind him, then quiet footsteps, hands came into sight. They undid the restraints.

"Who are you?"

"Aranek, Jedi Knight Aranek. The last Jedi"

"You are not the last. Yoda, and Obi-wan Kenobi are alive and well"

A sigh of relief left Aranek, a smile appeared on his face. For the first time in three years he smiled.

"That is the best news I have heard in a while" And who are you sir?

"I am Godan, Leader of the Village. I can arange a meeting if you-"

"No! No, That is what the Sith want, the Jedi together in a group. Easy targets, What about Bail Organa? Is he alive?"

"Yes he is, he is here"

"I need to go to Alderaan. I'm going into Solitude"

"Very well, I shall arange a transport for you to go With Bail to Alderaan"

The man left the room and started ordering his men, Heavy footsteps were heard a distance away. He sat up and massaged his wrists, he put his Jedi clothing on, clipped his lightsabe to his belt. And opened the door, and sneaked ou tof the room.

He evaded groups, patrols, men, droids, cameras. Untill he was outside, and then force ran past the rest of the men. He then headed for the platforms. He jumped down onto a lower hangar platform. And saw a Delta-7.

"Ahh, my fighter. This will be good, Q6, power up. Lets get outta here"

He hopped inside and hit the powerr switches, and primed the engines. Then within secnods of taking off he was in space.

"Lets find Darth Vader, Lets find Palpatine, Lets get even!"

The ship then blasted into hyperspace...
