Nicely done for your first one.
A bit of constructive crit, though: try to not make the bottom edges so square (even an angle is better), and work on the placement of your flare.
Not sure what else you did, but like I said, for your first one, its pretty nice.

Definitely looks good. Much better than my first one anyway, but I'd say lose a lot of that red glare toward the bottom...
That and possibly get rid of the flare on the saber or at least use a different technique to make that. Linkmax has a premade clash image that works wonders for that. All you have to do is change the hue to red.
Otherwise congrats, I think you have it down.
