I just got my Vader FX in the mail from Hasbro(well I ordered from Amazon). I'm pretty sure I ordered a new one from Amazon(you know how it says "Sold and shipped by amazon" and it was full price). I got it and it was sealed but I really don't like how they packaged it. They put the box into a huge bigger box with no padding. Who knows what it went through from Fedex to get to me.
Anyway, the hilt has some blemishes like it looksl ike someone accidentally scratched it against something red and theres a very tiny mark of red near the shroud. Also there's a weird miscolored black blotch on the shroud also. It also looks like the rubber pommel was kind of glued on in a hurry as you can still see some of it seeping from under it(it's already dried though of course).
Lastly it sounds like something is shaking around inside of it, like some small piece got stuck inside or fell off or something like that. Is that normal? The saber works fine but you pay so much for these you might as well get one that isn't a second rate product.
Basically what i'm asking is if anyone can compare their hasbro FX sabers from when they got them new to the one I just got in the mail.

I'll reply in a couple of days, maybe sooner, when I finally get mine. I hope mine got through alright.
As for the problem, I have something similar with my Anakin RotS, that is to say, I too hear something shaking inside of it, like some minor part is loose, but no problem with its functioning whatsoever.
Other than that however, there are no complications or sluggish details. Maybe just some black dots in the blade, but there's nothing that can be done about it really.
