Hi all
Please could someone help me out
i was bought a anakin episode 1 force fx saber (master Replicas) for a Christmas present a few years ago and the poly carb at the base has snapped it's my pride and joy and i can't seem to find anywhere or anyone who can either fix it for me or upgrade it to a led or something it's got to the stage that I'm thinking of taking it apart myself to fix but i have no electronic experience at all, i can wire a plug but that's it
i did try a search but it kept removing fx from the search due to it not being 4 letters long
any help or direction would be greatly appreciated
i miss my light saber
great forum by the way

Erm i'm not too sure, if there is a way to fix it But were I in your position this would be what i would do... I'd email Ultra from Ultrasabers, and get him to do me a luxeon upgrade, its not the cheapest method, but it gives you something unique and possibly better than just throwing away or keeping a broken saber Sorry i couldnt be of more help about the actual problem but look into that, its worth the extra money

I bought my first Force FX saber (Darth Vader ANH) in August and bought a conversion kit about a month later. I had never done anything like this before and I took my time and followed the instructions to the letter. It worked out fine and now I have a nice replica saber that I can duel with and also remove the blade to wear as part of a costume. Head over to forums.thecustomsabershop.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15 if you want to read about how to take apart your specific saber to repair/convert it. You could also check ebay for spare original blades as once converted the old blades are often discarded in favour of stronger blades.
