In Episode 2 You'll notice u hear Quigon trying to stop Anakin as he kills the sand people.Yoda hears it before he speaks with Mace about the Darkside clouding their vision.Quigon became one with the force sooner than Yoda says.It makes you wonder why Yoda didn't say anything sooner. So Quigon is following Anakin around for who knows when.Maybe its why Vader seems so distant at the front of the Star destroyers,Old Jedi haunting him.

Yeah that was an awesome addition to the scene. You hear Qui Gon's faint cry, "Anakin no!" I didn't even notice it at first until my bf pointed it out.

I'll have to check that out. I haven't watched Attack of the Clones in a while. I liked it because of the massive saber battle near the end.

That's a good point. I guess it dealt with the fact that Qui-gon promised Anakin to be a Jedi. Jedi don't kill out of anger, and Qui-gon felt he had failed him.

Yoda could hear Gui-Gon and feel Anakin but he couldn't figure out exactly what was going on. The Darkside had cloud his mental vision.

I always interpreted it as something that no one could hear - neither Anakin, nor Yoda - that it was there for the audience's benefit to signify that Qui Gon does still exist and had reacted to something he could possibly never have dreamt of occuring - Anakin's initial descent towards the dark side. Otherwise, im sure either Qui Gon would have communicated this to Yoda, or Yoda would have enquired into this event personally would he have sensed that Anakin commited such an act. I somehow don't see a mass slaughter of living creatures carried out by the 'prophesized one' in the name of cold blooded revenge taking a backseat till the next Jedi union meeting if you catch my drift

I remember that part. The strange part to me was when Qui Gon yells "noo!!" it didnt sound like him at all.

In ROTS it reveal that in fact Yod did hear Quigon, That is why is gives Obi-Wan his new training at he end. He says Quigon had return from the netherworld of the Force. This is aparent from what he says to Mace. "Young Skywalker is in pain." So he could sense his suffering even though his own darkness blocked out Yoda's vision. The Darkside casts a veil that makes if hard to see with the Force. So Quigon was just learning to communicate, But seems to focus much of his time on Anakin. This may be why and older wiser Obi-Wan smiles and lets Vader kill him. Quigon reassured Obi he could still help Luke after his passing which is why he says. "If you strike me down I will become more powerful then you could possibly imagine." It is a little confusing. Both Yoda and Obi tell Luke in ESB that a Jedi would destroy Vader and the Emperor. So I wonder if Obi knew he could be redeemed. It doesn't seem that way he sys "Vader is more machine now that man, Twisted and evil." Both Yoda and Obi give up on Anakin. Luke realized he could be saved by his love. Ironic, Anakin actually says "Love won't save you, Only my new powers can do that." When in the end love saved him, he couldn't have been mroe wrong.
