I have a Darth Maul Force FX Lightsaber (Hasbro) and the last 6 inches or so of the blade won't light up anymore. When I first bought it at Comic-Con in July 2010 it worked just fine. I put fresh batteries in it and it still won't work right. I never used it in a duel, there was no moisture exposure, and it wasn't exposed to extreme temperatures (hot or cold). I was wondering if it would be possible to fix it.
