A soft and gentle flower was enjoying the sun from the warm summer day. Swaying in the wind, gently to and fro, the flowers petals were lifted smoothly and softly up from the cool and rare breeze that swayed thought the day. It was amongst a field of identical flowers that shared the same pattern of color, and they all gave the same beauty to the soft green field on the small hill.
Footsteps were gently placed, obviously trying not to crush the beauty and innocence of the flowers beneath the giant’s weight. The sun collided softly to the flowers, making them shine with radiance. A small gap in the field of wild flowers became the resting spot for a young boy. He was no child, yet he was not a man yet, life was still young to him, but enough experience was under his belt. In our years, he was around the age of 17. The flower that lay next to him was plucked at its bottom and held softly in the hands of the boy, he held it close to his face, so his eyes could examine that of every detail he could absorb. He pushed it closer, so it was under his nose and he softly closed his eyes and he inhaled the sweet perfume it shared with him. He held it in front of him now, twirling it with his thumb and his two fingers so the flower spun in his hand, as if it had danced, his mind blank with no thought, yet his eyes feasting on the flower held before him.
A voice echoed from some distance behind him, calling his name. He could hear his name being called, yet he did not stir in his spot, not did he react as if he heard anything except the breeze brushing through his hair. The sound grew closer from behind him, someone was looking for him, and he knew he would be found, but he remained where he was, his back to the voice. Again the voice sounded off behind him, and this time the tone of the voice was not so soft, yet slightly frustrated with him.
“Jaden! Why didn’t you answer me? I know you heard me the first time!” A stern woman was standing behind Jaden with her hands on her hips. She wore a blue apron on top of a while dress. He hair was as brown as the earth, but her eyes as blue as the ocean. Yet her eyes could often mimic the ocean, showing heavy tides of waves that would crush any one who didn’t answer to her. A dim grin lit Jaden’s face, he had indeed heard his mothers call for him, but he had pretended not to. “Sorry mother, I just wanted to come out here again before I go.”
His mother looked at him funny, her anger was gone, and a smirk held her gaze at Jaden. “You say that as if you’re never coming back. Now get inside, your father is waiting with your Master inside.” Jaden smiled a little, he had said it as if he wasn’t coming back, and he knew he would return, but he enjoyed the sun and the meadow, it gave him peace of mind. Heading inside of his home he smiled at his father who gave a smile in return, and he turned his attention to his Master. His Master was a foot or so taller then himself. He was very strong and he had a wise appearance to him. He wasn’t old, yet he wasn’t the youngest of the Masters. He bowed a little to his Master, who in turn returned the gesture and they straightened up with a smile. “Sorry to keep you waiting Master, I was just meditating before your arrival. I didn’t expect you to come so soon.”
With a smile revealing his teeth his Master spoke. “That’s quite alright Jaden. Are you ready?” With a nod and a small smile he replyed. “Yes Master.” Turning to face his mother he hugged her and to his father an embrace between them was shared. After letting go he turned towards his master and followed him out the door. He had said his good byes to his parents, but he did not turn back to look as they waved at him. They arrived at a ship that was resting a few yards away from the home and the door opened wide, with a ramp for them to walk on into the ship. Once entering the ship the ramp was retrieved and the door was sealed shut. He had been inside of a ship before, but he had not been inside his Masters. It was both longer and wider. Seats were placed through out the interior of the ship, with a few tables next to them. He was led to his temporary room, until they arrived at their destination. “You will find that your friend is already here. He is his own room next to yours. We shall take off in a few minutes, and shall arrive on Korroban within a few hours.” Jaden smiled at his Master and walked into his room. The door didn’t even have time to slide shut behind him when his friend burst through shouting excitedly. “Jaden! Were finally off! To become what we were both meant to be! Were off to train to become Jedis!”
