Ok get this bunch of crap and let me rant for a sec. If you can provide any help please do. I am dying.
I own 2 copies of KOTOR 2, one for PC and one for xbox. My OG XBOX wouldn't play it. The Xbox was warn due to over play. Let's just say that some of the components are melted to the board. My PC I had used a memory allocation from the RAM for the video card. Either way I went I was about 64MB of RAM short.
I got my new comp. It's wicked. OMG. Well it has vista and a 512 MB Nvidia card and 2 GB of RAM on a 2.0 Dual Core Intel.
So I install KOTOR2 and it will not work. I am getting an error looking for a driver that is not compatible with vista. AAAAHHHHH!
Someone Please Help Me???
This much I have figured out thus far. I am not the only one. I was looking on LucasArts and there are several there with the same issues with drivers. OMG this is killing me.

I wish I could help you matey but I can't. I bought KOTOR 2 for PC and it doesnt work on my computer, even though I can play newer games like Empire at War and the expansion Forces of Corruption. I hate buying games for PC because there is always a high chance that it will completely mess up, even if you have the right hardware. Apart from Empire at War I dont play games on my PC, it just gives me to much grief and wastes my cash on games that I cannot play.

Thanks anyway my friend. I have learned from a lot of research that a lot of crap is not working properly with Windows Vista. Looks like I am waiting on an update still.

Ask her. I work on comps too. But Vista needs a service pack. That is basically it.
I own 2 copies of KOTOR2 one for PC and one for xbox and have not been able to play either of them. It blows.

This is the reason I'm holding off on Vista. I'm fairly computer savvy, and I'm waiting to get my DirectX10 video card before I upgrade to Vista. I doubt Obsidian would release a patch to remedy the issue, so it looks like you'll just have to wait for Vista to get an upgrade. One thing, you've tried reinstalling and updating your video card drivers, right?

Yea Jayman I have spent hours trying to update and change things around. I have a 512MB Nvidia Geforce 7600. It is awesome. But the updates from them and the ones from Vista are still not working.
And get this, Photoshop CS2 will not load either. I am requesting to HP that they send me a copy of XP. That way I can at least dual boot until Vista gets the kinks worked out.
