I've heard alot about KOTOR 2 (good things) and I was questioning if i should buy an xbox for this game. I ahve a PS2 but the only good Star Wars game for it is Revenge of the Sith (that i've played). So can you tell me, is the game worth buying an Xbox for it?

buying an xbox for just one game, ehh, thats a close one. i personally like KOTOR II a lot. (better than KOTOR I imo, gameplay wise though, story wise, KOTOR I is better)
but there are a lot of other games on the Xbox that, combined with KOTOR II, does make it worth it, especially since the prices are dropping on them. im personally do NOT like any of the Playstations as a whole, I like a few of the individual games, but i've never seen enough of them to make it seem worth the investment.

Ok, thanks. I was also thinking of getting the Jedi Academy games and the first KOTOR, just becaus I don't like playing continuuations without at least trying the beginning.

ya, dont play KOTOR II until you've completed KOTOR I. otherwise its story makes no sense. the Jedi Academy is fun, if a bit old. Halo would also be a great investment, but thats getting off topic lol.

Yes, it is worth it, i had very fun with it. But buy the PC versions, since you can download mods.

I wouldn't recommend the PC versions, since allot of complaints have been made about the compatibility of the games. For instance I've heard they don't work with Windows Vista. My X-Box died a few months ago, so I picked up KotOR 1 for my HP Desktop. Even though all my computer specs were compatible, the game freezes and is very glitchy. It's to the point of unplayability. Apparently lots of people have experienced this as well. Besides, If your computer is not up to scratch, it's probably cheaper to just get an X-Box than upgrade your PC. Both KotOR games are well worth it in my humble opinion however. Also, both Battlefronts are awesome, and Republic Commando is excellent as well. I enjoyed the Jedi Academy just as much.

all very good suggestions for games, i played all the same ones (that Azrael mentioned). Morrowind is also an excellent game if you want to spend a couple hundred hours running through random caves lol. i love the elder scrolls games, but im getting off topic again.
the PC versions of KOTOR are good on PC, but only if your PC is beyond the specs for them. and you gotta be careful about modding them. but the PC version of KOTOR I is better i think, just because of the extra space station. make uber amounts of money there lol.

I would buy it for the PC if your PC is half decent. I would only reccomend buying Jedi Academy on the PC, it gets old ULTRA fast on the xbox as you can't really download mods or play online. Its SOOOO MUCH BETTER on the PC.

It says my PC is too good. Oh well. Xbox it is.

Yes, it is worth it, i had very fun with it. But buy the PC versions, since you can download mods. Mods are a MUST to make the game more fun. If you like to re-play a game over and over (as I do) then mods make it soooo much fun! The Xbox versions also have less content. I know for the original KOTOR the PC version has the Yavin space station and some extra stuff added in. Get it for PC. PC gaming is more fun anyway. ;D

KOTOR 2 is the greatest. I bought that game real cheap a long time ago from hastings and I was surprised at it's cheapness(less than 5 dollars since it was used and missing it's cover). I can keep playing it over and over and over and over and over again. It's great cause I'm always discovering new things and the story always has some differences on sex and wether ur on the dark or light side. Love the game. I have it on XBOX.
It's great. thought I'd Just say It's super duper great. XBox's should be cheap now a days so I'd say go for it if u have the money and there will always be some other cool excellent cheap xbox games you can buy and play too so I'd say it would be worth it.
