And the countless fight sequences... I had put 75 hours into my SHORTEST game of KOTOR, once I had beat it twice already. This could get VERY lengthy.

The game is about 40+ hours long, right? So, there's no way they can cram all that into a 2 1/2 hour movie. Even if the movie's 4 hours long, they still can't cram all that into a movie.

But still, a real KOTOR movie? Good idea! I'd see it if it is in theaters.
