Never used photoshop for rotoscoping. I'm guessing your changing everything to a film strip and adding them that way. I bet everything looks good that way how ever i've never used photoshop for film. I would really suggest using another program for rotoscoping film. After effect would be so very much quicker. One thing you could do in photo shop though would be to use serveral different layers for the blade and blur them at different rates. EX... guasian blur 1, 10, 20, 40. Use about 5 layers that are the same thing just different blurs. then change the color on them instead of using the outer glow layer effect. then you'd be able to delete the part of the layer that runs over to the next frame. Give that a try hope it helps....

first off thanks for the replies.
I did read through that post by kaat and its a good system and i will have to try it. I will also be trying the different blur layers also allthough i have to say that will take some tweaking. I also have came up with the idea that i will be filming in 16:9 so my idea was just to recreate the black top and bottom and that should basically kill it if it does show up. I am going to try these things and I will let everyone know how it goes. Thanks again for these options.
