I found one a long time ago that uses gaussian blurs. I got tired of doing it over and over so I made a bunch of sabers in a psd in different colors and I just take one off the psd, resize it and there it is. In the case that the resize doesn't work I made a photoshop action to do it for me. Not sure if it will work but here is the action: www.twindragonproductions.com/downloads/saber-action.zipIf you don't know how to load an action: Just put it in your photoshop actions folder in your c:\programs\adobe\photoshop CS\presets\photoshop actions Then in photoshop go to window>actions to make sure they come up, click on the arrow at the top of the actions window and load action. Select it and bam it's in there. Make sure you set your colors first, the saber color on top the white on the bottom. Then highlight the action and hit play at the bottom of the action window. Once I have a saber made I can do pretty much anything to by messing with the layers, opacity, transformation, etc. I change the color with the adjust hue saturaction. You can also play with the layer settings and blending options to get some cool results. |

If you have the time and want to try a different background...that's fine by me! perhaps a darker background or a star wars background...like Mustafar...then a flashing blade would work too!
