Ahh, if it's not one of my worst edits ever. This is a graphic of Boba (on the left), and myself (the right).


Here's a real winner done by me. Looks like theres a new character in Halo 3.


And if it isn't myself. Yep, I finally learned something. I know this isn't as good as Garyn's version of it, but I just made it as one of my first hilt edits which I'm proud to say, I didn't steal it like alot of people would. I worked quite a while on this one, and was surprised on how good it turned out for me being a beginner.

Just a note, when you use someone else's art for a background, unless its for a siggy, I strongly suggest you give credit to it.

Oh, right, i'll go find out who made that. I actually found it in a link on JMT. I think you used it as a siggy background but if i'm not mistaken, it was from deviantart.

I Strongly advise you to not take anything from deviantART, because they have a very strict policy on that.

Lol, so I noticed. They deleted a bunch of my stuff which sucked, and I didn't even get it off Deviantart.

To Garyn: How did you manage to get your edit of Boba Fett with the Green lightsaber on Deviantart? They deleted my versions, even though I started with the original versions from scratch.

Check it out! I made another edit of my character. I have no idea who originally made the picture. I found it on Photobucket and did the lightsaber portion of it.


Here's another edit I did of the Boba Fett pic. I added a hilt and made a bunch of different versions of it, and added them all together in animation frames to make it switch colors.

Not: I didn't make the original pic, I just did the saber.

Pretty good, Mason Fett. Here's my version of the Boba Fett edit:

I changed the blend mode of the saber to linear dodge to make it look more like a picture rather than a photograph. I even made it into one of my sigs.

Yeah, I noticed you have that in your sig, Nerdold. Looks pretty good. I love the glow and the look of the hilt. Yeah, my latest edit of that picture isn't posted here yet. I recently made one with an igniting lightsaber too.



This was one that I made for Tal not too long ago. I wanted to post it in the igniting sabers thread, but being the last person to have posted there, I couldn't.

Now I just have to learn force lightening ;D

Lol, I can never seem to get how to make force lightening. I've tried your tutorial, Nerdold, but got nothing. Same goes for the other tut that I tried.

I'm sure yours works, but I just wish I knew how I could get the Force lightening to work. I really wanna put force lightening in this pic, but every attempt failed, sadly.

Lightning is sort of an intermiate level, took me a few times before I got it memorized.

*I spent like minute and a half on it, I know I should have brought in the levels closer and added a little more blue, but it was a quickie..



When doing lightning bring the lightning out a little from the fingers so its not actually touching them, its more movie accurate that way.
