I'd like to report a rip off towards the store of Books-a-Million yes they are selling lightsaber replicas more than you can get online. like the yoda saber get it a Books-a-million for 145 but go on line and they have it for 75. I have to say thats a rip off I though I would do my duty and tell you to not buy them at Books-a-Million. If you want them really badly you could get them eather online or at spencers for 90 bucks but thats only at spencers. Hope this helps for those who want a saber and want it cheap say away from Books-a-million if you want a saber from master replica.

Being in England, UK, I can't really comment on US prices, but I understand where you're coming from.
I know some shops charge more in-store than online and vice versa in some cases.
I know you have a Toys R Us in America so you might want to try there.
I know average price for Force FX sabers in USA are around $125.00.
But yeah, it is disgusting how even established shops try to rip off Star Wars fans. Like Toys R Us here in the UK, started selling the Imperial Shuttle for £79.99, then a couple of weeks before Christmas, knocked it down to £59.99, now they have it on sale for £49.99, so it is worth waiting a bit.
Force FX lightsaber here in the UK in established store like Toys R Us are £79.99 to £89.99, but Toys R Us are selling them at £59.99 on sale.
So keep an eye out with your Toys R Us store in America as you'll find they might drop prices every now and then.
People are always in a rush to buy something as soon as it comes out, which is where the vast majority of profit is made, but you find, in time, the prices come down as demand lowers, so you are better off waiting in some instances.

There's a lot of places that overprice their sabers... I've seen some selling their Yoda for like >$500 and claimed that there were only like 500 Yoda FXs made. In fact, I think that Toys 'R' Us sells them for $130.

The original price for an Force-Fx Lightsaber is $120.00 +tax. anything higher is profit for the company your buying it from, and less is probably a surplus, or referb (they are considered new again, but still go for less, just for caring the name of referb, my painball gun is a referb, and it works brilliantly for the past 2 years.)

Hey there OP..
I notice the mark up in price as well. But here in my Books-a-Million in Florida it's also marked off as 30 percent off, and with a b-a-m discount count card, it's a additional 10 percent off, so 40 % off the high price. So a much better deal.
But get this.. I've been trying to buy a force fx for a while now and when i noticed it was on sale at B-A-M I bought it right away, but there was a new guy ringing me up and didn't know what discount to push and he hit the 50% off button and so I walked out the store with my new Luke Skywalker Force Fx for about $70 including tax.
Double check to see if your store has it on sale....... perhaps you might get lucky too.. if i had the extra cash I would of pick up the whole lot!!!!
Peace

I know this thread is old but...
Was at games world on the weekend, looking to do some bargaining. A force fx construction kit was said to be priced at 230$ AU A reasonable price for a force fx here in Aus. I pretended to have no idea about this wonderful thing called a force fx lightsaber, and was glad to spend the money on a very close, star wars obsessed friend. The shop assistant helpfully clued me in on the massive price discount i was getting buy purchasing his product.
"When these babes first came out they were just about 800$ each, and now that Master Replicas are releasing them again they are going to go for about 400$ because they are very popular"
He also claimed that there were only 150 sent to Australia to be sold.
I nodded my head, took his business card and walked away.
