In the instructional paper...thing it says that it's not a limited edition because these lightsabers aren't the exact size of the real ones for all of the necessary electronics to fit inside. So I'm just wondering what the exact difference in the size is.

I'd say they are like 20% bigger.
And the obi-wan saber has a fat neck.

depends on the model: the anakinROTS, lukeANH, vaderESB, vaderANH('07), and darth maul are almost identical in size/shape to the original prop. side by side, and at first glance, you'd have a hard time separating the FX hilt from the LE hilt. the anakin AOTC, luke ESB, and vader ANH'03, (IIRC), were advertised as "1:1.1" scale replicas; 10% bigger, but otherwise, almost identical in shape/details to the LE the yoda is about 20-30% bigger but otherwise its almost an exact replica. I'm not sure what the scale factor is, because it was never advertised, but again, the shape has just been "scaled" not altered... ... but the luke ROTJ, macewindu, obiwan took a LOT of liberties with the size and shape. these are at least 10% oversized, AND, the shape has been distorted with "Fat necks" and other assorted weirdness. -====- short answer: 5/12 hilts I would consider 1:1 "replicas" regardless of the literature; 4/12 were "scaled replicas" to accommodate the electronics; and for the remaining 3/12, the size AND shape of the hilt was distorted to accommodate the electronics (some more than others)
