Anakin Skywalker R.O.T.S Force fx lightsaber review Jul 3, 2005.

Well there are not too many things that can still make me gitty with joy,a working lightsaber would be one of them.
Though force fx wont cut through a steel door,or reflect blaster fire,it stll really looks and feels REAL..
On opening night of ROTS I seen a few saber wielding cats,I thought lol those look cheesy and paid it no mind..
The sabers they where using where not force fx,probably one of the other lightsaber prop company's.
It was not till I seen Master Replicas on the tv shopping network (QVC) lol don`t ask.
I was amazed that they sold out in like 5 min,then I seen them doing some lightsaber duel demos( but with light on,and it still looked good)
So I hit the google and find a place called firebox that had um on pre order and seen the videos ..after seeing that I HAD TO FIND ONE...well after 3 weeks of best buy hunting,and online googleing I finally won a Anakin ROTS (used on ebay)
So finally I ordered the lightsaber,and I got the one I wanted (actually I had really wanted a Mace Windu most)
But its not so simple,after paying for the lightsaber plus giving the ebay seller a extra 15 bucks to insure he ships it the next day)I hear nothing for 5 days,and was emailing him each day.
Well 5 days later and still no word from the seller with tracking ,so I call him.
Turns out this kid was low on money and didn't have the money to ship the saber until the day I called.
By now I am answering the phone 1st ring every time and running to my mail box each few hrs to check for a Ups we missed you notice.
So finally after another 7 days wack ass Ups comes and delivers my saber.
I naturally had the battery's on hard,and was ready to go do the dam thing..
So I open the box and inspected it.
Every thing looks lovely,so I took the saber out of the box and we set to inset the 3 aa battery's.
My 1st impression was the saber was alot lighter then I expected it to be.
But it still felt great,so I opened the back and put the batters in the back of the lightsaber and twisted it closed.
Now its ready to be powered on and tested,the moment of truth is here.
But its still light out so I opt to wait till sundown..
So I went and worked on some music and in what felt like no time it was 8:30.
I stop to save the beat and grab the saber off the stand,THE TIME IS HERE!!
I put it in my hands and look for the power button,actually I press what you would think is the power button,but that`s just for looks.
Then I notice the real on and off switch and grip the saber and hold my breath.
WOW!! Its almost magical,I stood there just looking at the color of the blade,then looked at the color of the blade on the mirrors reflection ( it looked even more magical in the mirrors reflection)
Man it looked good,so I took some swings and heard the moving fx,at this point I am loving it.
I AM FEELING THE FORCE NOW!!
The idle hum is music to my ears,and swinging this saber around is almost therapeutic,different clash sounds are nice too ( not that I plan to use then much)..
Well 5 days later I am still loving it,.even more actually.
Learning moves and me and my pets love it ( my cats go crazy when I but out the lightsaber..lol)
I will no doubt be a force fx collector from this day forth..
