Well I had been waiting for this game since the concept art was first released. I gotta tell you i was very excited for what this game was bringing us;
1. The use of the force as we never have seen it.
2. a story line based on a sith or villain
3. it was one of the first games, barring darkforces, that explores the gap between the PT and the OT.
SO of course i Pre-ordered that S**t. Well i got it Tuesday and it was cool.
However (criticism starts here) I was some what let down.
My first complaint is that this game was WAY WAY WAY too short. The gameplay was cool but not as cool as they hyped it up to be. I guess i was expecting a little more......to do rather than just follow the path and kill whoever is next. Don't get me wrong it was cool to be able to lift/destroy just about everything, especially the mission on board the Empiricall, although it was short that was fun. The saber battles, the few there were, were awesome too. The story line really saved the game even though some parts seem to contradict established canon.
I give a 7/10, it was fun but did not live up to the hype.
What they could have done to save the PS3 and 360 versions? MULTIPLAYER!
That's all they had to do, was give us a decent Multiplayer, i dont even mean a LIVE version i just mean a versus mode like they did in the ROTS game, with the new engines and graphics it would have been awesome. A good Versus mode with a large cast would have given this game so much more playtime. Wii got one and it looks decent, why not give 360 and PS3 one? Really dropped the ball there guys!
Again it is an OK game, with a bit more effort and a multiplayer versus mode this would have been a Great game
What did you think?
