At long last you can live out your fantasy of brandishing a lightsaber to beat down digital baddies on the Wii. I just hope it doesn't all boil down to simple arm flailing or wiggle waggle nonsense, the Wii's motion sensing technology can be hit or miss at times, and unfortunately few third party developers seem to have a handle on things (although the new Metroid leaves me hopeful for what can be done with the Wii-mote, but then again that's a second party title). Anyways, I won't bore you all with my ramblings. Here's the article:
*EDIT* Puzzling, IGN has either misplaced the article or pulled it, but I assure you it was there. You can still see the Wii version of the game under their search engine, but upon clicking the link one is presented with a 404 error. Anyways, the article basically mentioned that the Wii-mote would handle saber combat with the nunchuk being used for force powers. If it pops back up I'll post it here.

I believe that was included in part of the interview I posted, as I remember hearing it as well and don't read IGN.

yeah i have a wii, but i also have a 360 and i would want to play it on that because some games on the wii are well, um...bad. But I'm not saying that it's going to be bad but I'm saying that i think it will be better on the 360. but yeah i think i'll try it out.

If the games are different enough to warrant two purchases, I may end up buying two copies (but I doubt that will be the case). Here's to hoping there's a proper PC release (that's at least on par with the next gen versions) when the game finally does hit shelves, as I still don't see myself purchasing a 360 anytime soon (unless Metal Gear Solid 4 goes multiplatform of course).

speaking of the quality of the game, have any of you heard the controls? the only thing know is that the wii mote will be the lightsaber moves, and the nunchuck will be force powers.
