He was thinking about helping Qui-Gon and Obi Wan but he was too drunk. ;D Jedi usually don't get drunk...he just didn't know what they were doing and if they needed help.

I concure with those statements. Most of the time Jedi don't help for severa reasons:
1. They don't know if the other Jedi need help or what situation their in.
2.If another Jedi helps they could in danger the other Jedi's mission.
3.They need to focus on their own mission.

Was Vos even a created character at the time?
Wasn't he created as a canon character after TPM?

quinlan was not invented at the time of episode one he was bassed on the character in the backround That's correct. Not sure if anyone here has read the Clone Wars Graphic novels, but Quinlan Vos and Obi-Wan are approx the same age (Dreadnaughts of Rendili", Volume 6). If that were Quinlan Vos, then he should have been a padawan also during the time of TPM.

It would seem that could be any Kiffu, not just Quinlan Vos, but who knows for sure. I do recall it being cannonized that Vos was onworld at the time of all this with his Padawan Aayla Secura, but then again that wouldn't seem right because padawans can't have padawans themselves. It seems we have collectivley discovered an error. Oh well though, that is bound to happen when you have such a vast EU created around the films.
