First the backstory...
I'm not a "purist" like some SW fans. I really liked the Special Edition release of 1997. The main reason is because I was fairly young at the time and this was the version of the three films that most strongly imprinted on me. However, when the OT originally came to DVD I bought it the day it came out, but much to my dismay my treasured film now had orange explosions and in a tremendous insult they replaced Anakin with Hayden Christiansen at the end of EP VI. Personally, I thought the SE release of 1997 was truly the best rendition of Star Wars. So my question is this:
With all the different dvd releases of the OT are any of them simply a direct transfer of the original Special Editions? If not, is there at least one without Hayden Christiansen at the end of EP VI?

original trilogys were good i think.. i mean it gives a sort of old school feeling to it but the new dvds are weird with hayden christiansen at the end of VI and some extra scene footage like han meeting with jabba and all in the fourth one

I agree, but I didn't mind most of the added stuff like Jabba meeting Han in EPIV. For some reason I just can't stand how they pasted over the original actor with Hayden Christensen at the end of EP VI.

It added to Anakin's redemption and his last known look when he was good
