In the 30 years[almost] I've been watching SW I've never noticed this until now. After the duel between Vader and Obi-Wan,when Luke shoots the controls to the blast doors,Vader starts walking towards them.Just before the doors close,if you look closely you can see that the SE department never rotoscoped the blade to his saber. You can actually see David Prowse's[if that was him] stunt saber. This is only in the version with the original special effects. The effect is fixed in the updated version. I know this is meaningless,I just thought I'd share.

Heck ya, just like the stormtrooper hitting his head on the door. It is funny to hear and see.

I kinda just figured do to bad lighting or something the color wasnt as bright like a ffx with the lights on, but your right. It's isn't rotoscoped for some reason.

Info like that is why I love this site. Noticed anything else in the original's? Actually I have. In ANH when Obi-Wan turns off the tractor beam, you can clearly see the word 'Power" written on the console. That is the only word in all of the SW films that's in english. . Also, when Vader is chasing Luke's X-Wing fighter, you can see David Prowse's eyes through his mask.Especially when he regains control of his fighter after it spins off into space. And of course you know about the Twi'lek slave girls' boob slip when she falls into the Rancor beast pit in Ep.VI.

That’s ok I love useless information. Speaking of useless information, the scene inside the Sandcrawler when R2 is looking around for the first time. You can see Kenny Baker's eye. Also You can see David Prowse's eyes through the mask when he is aboard the Tantivive IV, Leia's flagship. A correlian corvette. Also When Old Ben and Vader scrap for the lastime. At one point Obi-Wan points his lightsaber at the screen and all you see is Obi-Wan's stunt saber. Warrick Davis who played WILLOW. Was in the original 3 movies as a Jawa, Ugnaught, and an Ewok by the name Wicket W. Warrick.
