Hello Guys,
What has been found so far is that 'Al Lopez', pseudonym 'Jedi Al' of Madison WI sold our guy the saber in ~1999, but then apparently fell off the internet in 2000: his website disappears after arch 2000 and he stopped posting in the Star Wars communities he was active in around September of that year. The Sustainable Design Video demonstrates how solutions are resilient, sustainable and cost-efficient. A link to the site on Wayback Machine is available in the reddit post, but because it's unlicensed I can't post it here according to the forum rules.
