Who here has read Betrayal and Bloodlines? Or am I the only one completely blown away by these spectacular books? I'm really diggin' the new series as well. The days are just ticking by until Tempest is released, which luckily enough comes out directly on my birthday...a might fine present to myself if i do say so, haha. Especially since Clerks 2 on dvd happens to be the same day, so doubly good. Anyways, back to the books, i really like where they are taking Jacen in them. It's always a path i could envision him taking, especially after NJO and all that he went through. I'm still curious as to how Boba Fett is going to handle the whole ordeal with his daughter, because there is no way that he will let it slide for long.

Bro, seriously, YOU HAVE TO READ IT!
Ninja, I agree. I find myself not breathing while reading the crap Jace is doing. **Cries** It's just so touching. And I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for Tempest to come out as well.

I've read (and love!) both of them. Bloodlines was the better of the two in my opinion, I hope they don't get as grand and have way too much going on like the NJO series did by it's end. I loved how Traviss writes Fett and the Mandos, she did an amazing job!
I would like to see a novel spin off about the further adventures of Fett and family, and if he achieves his goal that he set off on at the end of the book. (But only if it's written by Traviss)

I would like to see a novel spin off about the further adventures of Fett and family, and if he achieves his goal that he set off on at the end of the book. (But only if it's written by Traviss) Yes, the bringing of Fett back into the fold seriously pleased me. Sure, they gave him a small nod during NJO with him and his Mandolorian's thrashing the Vong a bit. But it was a very small part. I doubt they'll devote an entire spinoff to him again though, as he already has his own trilogy...which was quite well done i think. Yet i can guarentee that if they did, i would defintely buy it and read it...as Fett has always been one of my favorite characters. Mainly because he's capable of kicking more ass than even most Force users can dream of. In that regard, he's pretty much the Batman of the Star Wars Universe. A highly skilled badass that makes up for his lack of supernatural powers via a ton of ingenius toys and outright intelligence. Leia, it is rather interesting to see a character like Jacen turn to the Dark Side for what he feels are truly altruistic reasons. Much in the same way that Anakin almost did, though his was moreso out of greed. Gotta give it to Lumiya though, her arguement is very solid for how the Dark Side can be used in better ways. Combined with Jacen's wider range of Force Skills, i think he's got the potential to become even more powerful than Palpatine was. Which could spell doom for Luke...though killing him off would piss off more people than even when they did it to poor Chewy. But it's a fact that he will die sometime, especially since he's shown as a Force Ghost in the new Star Wars: Legacy comic series that focuses on his decendant Cade Skywalker.
